@Gyt Kaliba: Yep, that's the one.

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
Besides the two pages on the previous page I want to know what this page states, specifically when the movie fits in the timeline.

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
From what I can see, it(the mini-timeline) says:dbgtFO wrote:Besides the two pages on the previous page I want to know what this page states, specifically when the movie fits in the timeline.
*snip*
- The time Goku attained Super Saiyan 3
- "Goku and Vegeta, Back With Fusion!"(the movie)
- The Super Boo battle's climax.

Now all I need is the 2 other pages!
Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
That movie fitting in the timeline canon would make sense since Goku did attain Super Saiyan 3 while training in heaven.NeoKING wrote:From what I can see, it(the mini-timeline) says:dbgtFO wrote:Besides the two pages on the previous page I want to know what this page states, specifically when the movie fits in the timeline.

Which is why it doesn't make sense IMO(although movies don't do in general, so maybe arguing about is pointless, but whatever).Miracles wrote:That movie fitting in the timeline canon would make sense since Goku did attain Super Saiyan 3 while training in heaven.NeoKING wrote: From what I can see, it(the mini-timeline) says:

If the movie takes place after Goku went SSJ 3 in heaven, but before the Buu Arc began(like what you are suggesting), then there's a lot of things that seem wrong like Vegeta being dead, Gotenks existing, Gotenks knowing Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack & Goten knowing the ki signature of his father...

Also, please could someone translate the panel in the Saiyan arc when Tenshinhan tells Chaozu to go back and Chaozu refuses to, saying he trained hard for this and he deserves to go?
And what Tenshinhan, Yamcha and Chaozu are saying at the bottom of this page, and everything it says about Piccolo, please.

Could someone translate these scans? I'm curious about the "faster than lightning" stuff.

Goku even mentions Ma-jin Buu by name after he transforms into Super Saiya-jin 3, basically saying that Janemba is the first fighter that's forced him to use that form since Ma-jin Buu.dbgtFO wrote:Which is why it doesn't make sense IMO(although movies don't do in general, so maybe arguing about is pointless, but whatever).Miracles wrote:That movie fitting in the timeline canon would make sense since Goku did attain Super Saiyan 3 while training in heaven.NeoKING wrote: From what I can see, it(the mini-timeline) says:

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
^Yeah, the movie fits fine in the timeline to me.
Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
The Janemba movie would fit perfectly into the timeline if Super Buu had been killed by Gotenks or Mystic Gohan.

Just curious, has anything been translated about the part when Goku and Vegeta poof back to normal size when they leave Super Buu? It seemed to me like they were surprised but I want to be sure the dialogue matches their facial expressions

I'd just like to remind everyone to check and see if a quote is already included in the Strength Checker before asking to have it translated.

What does exactly say in the bottom left square? The one with the graph, Goku facing the Ginyu force and Super Saiyan.

Can someone translate the text in this, please? I'm just curious as to what the text says and how it's in relation to the image, since it's funny.

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread
Just tossing this out there...
I'm not the one translating anything, but if I were, I'd probably like something a little more than, "Here's an image, please translate! Thanks!"
Why do you want to know what it says? Are you working on something in particular? Is it something you've never seen before? Do you know where it's from? Does it relate to some other discussion? Are you just curious for the sake of being curious?
Just like how we ask that the rest of your contributions to the forum actually have some substance, it'd be great if you could add a little more to your request to flesh it out and put some context behind it. Thank you!

Re: The All-Purpose "Translation Request" Thread

This is Muten Roshi's final message at the end of chapter 194. What does he say here compared to Viz's translation?
Viz: "No, no, this isn't the end. Not by a long shot."
