Hilarious AF Site

Post by Eclipse » Mon Oct 10, 2005 10:02 pm

This sadly is another site that is run by someone who is believed that Dragon Ball AF exists. However, the way the site is run is way too hilarious to be not noted. So check it out. Laugh. It's pretty funny, especially with the attempted professionalism

Yes, I've seen that one before. They purloined my AF print-ad, chopped off our URL, and claimed it as "proof." :?

But yeah... they win no points for site design, despite pretty much claiming to be in with the people making it. Suuuure, the official producers of a major anime are being hosted for free by someone else.

I don't know that anybody would be fooled by this, but if they are, then they only have themselves to blame.

I really do feel sorry for everyone who's (actually good) fanart got branded as AF proof and passed round millions of websites.

This has got to be a joke they're putting on or else some elaborate scam to get people's credit card numbers. I wonder what would happen if someone actually called that number? They could they are a representative of Toei or Funi and they are calling to inform them that they are taking them to court for copyright infringement. :P

I find the heavy use of fan art to be hilarious, especially the hentai doujin images they try to pass off as actual art. XD

Edit: Rofl, they even used a screenshot from Puni Puni Poemi.

The worse part is that they're using hentai doujinshi as preview art.

Haha, nice box art for the Xicor saga. It looks like he found a bootlegged copy. You'd think he'd "scan" the "official" version for his "proof".

Looking at the pictures...which are just sad.
No, wait, they're beyond sad. Words cannot describe how sad they are.

Stuff like this makes me glad I didn't draw any made up characters for anyone here in my picture request thread a while ago. Cause then some dumbass would call it AF material. :?

Possibly. But 'spray-painting' of that poor quality can be done with any sort of image editing program, so what we're looking at is poor spray-painting possibly super-imposed into the photo in paint.
Also note, when you said "written in MS paint" it sounds like you mean MS paint is some sort of language. :P

Man, their episode summaries are so damn accurate. I also find it very interesting that even though no one has seen a single episode of AF, they've already have made movies. I guess the series must be really propular and high grossing. :P

And did anyone read this on the FAQ page?
Q: Didn't Akira clearly state that AF is fake?

Yes, but shortly after, the wrighter of AF signed a contract with Akira allowing him to use some of her characters and create the new series. The contract is now viewable on the "What's New" page.
Toriyama-sensei, what'd you do? Why the sex change?

Ok wo maybe it was a little badly worded.

Redone: The word "saga" on the front looks like it was drawn by the brush tool in MS Paint.

I checked out their guestbook, and everyone is saying that the phone number doesn't work. Not surprising. I'm fairly certain this is not just a harmless spoof.

It would be hilarious if this was intended as a joke website.

Jesus Christ, he even has yaoi for normal pictures and... Princes Lila?! WTF?
