Agreed on both counts.Codarik wrote: I love the characters, has a lot of character development and has morality (no drug use, no on-screen sex), which is missing a lot in todays television. It's the only series I'm willing to buy the DVDs for.
Same here. It was a cool cartoon. There have been times where I have asked myself, with only a few games under my belt, nothing heavy, "Do I really like this series?" I've asked it again after discovering Daizex, where every other poster has personal stories, loads of merchandise (The figures! And Toei's Kai merchpage, geez!), and often discusses the franchise in greater detail than we really need to. Then I came to the same realization as Kenmuri, that Dragonball wasn't just a fantastic gateway drug anime, it had the sort of personality that basically nothing else in the industry on film or print has. I can appreciate it a lot more for that. And here I am, buying Dragon Boxes, something intended for those far more dedicated than myself.Piccolo Daimaoh wrote:I wish I could say that Dragon Ball has intrinsically impacted on my personality or even my philosophy in some way, but it really hasn't.
