Vegetto EX LOL!!! Anyway, I've gotta buy Tenkaichi to complete my Budokai collection! Even though I'm still pissed about the abscense of Li Shenlong and Uub, Oozaru and Muten Roshi, however, seem awesome! I always made jokes about how in Budokai 1 Roshi was the random character placeholder. I always thought it would be funny to see someone get the shit beat out of them by an old man with a random sign. LOL!!!

Side note: Isn't this Roshi's most recent apperance since Ultimate Battle 22?

Do keep in mind, Budokai Tenkaichi is merly a label, not a continuation by the same company with the same game engine. Do you have Sagas? I do :shock: .

I know about the fact that Tenkaichi is a whole different game, and the fact that I own the horrible Sagas. I don't understand, if Tenkaichi is a brand new game and all, that they just don't use the title Sparking! for a US and European release. I mean, they don't call Super Sonic Warriors something like Budokai Advance...

I think it's because they wanted to remind the Budokai 1-3 fanbase by including the 'budokai' in the title. They probably didn't want us to think it was another separate game like Sagas(sorry for reminding you). It sounds strange, but it's possible.

It's not that strange and is probably exactly what happened. They don't want to release a brand new series because it might not draw the same attention. However, slap Budokai on the cover, and bam, instant gold mine.

It was so funny in the beginning when he said,"My feeeelings are my guide." LoL, that shit had me rolling. The laughing bit at the end was pretty funny, too.

So, Xyex, since you think they might add bonuses, what do you think after watching the video? Goku's voice actor clearly said Pikkon, but I still feel like it was a dub mistake. Any thoughts?

I've ordered the game and it'll be shipped on Tuesday(the 18th) and it will arrive Wenseday(the 19th). wewt


What form is Master Roshi in? That big buff form? Or is it just him skinny?

I'm guessing that they are going to have both forms, but you can correct me if i'm wrong.

From what I've seen so far, Roshi only seems to be in his skinny form.
Anyway, what's with all the attack name changes? Burning Slash became Shining Sword Attack. I know that Sparking! is a japanese game rather than american, but they still could've renamed the attacks. :?

Yeah, Roshi only has his skinny form. I was at least expecting him to buff up when doing a kamehameha, but no luck. I guess his voice isn't the only thing they fucked up on.

Considering the fact that Roshi's VA is DEAD I don't think they had much of a choice in that department.

Also, most of the US fanbase would have no idea why they named a game based on such a badass show 'something gay' like "Sparking!".

About Roshi's seiyuu, that doesn't matter much in animation. They could just get another actor for him. They did the same with Nappa in GT.
