Would it have been possible for the Z warriors to throw #18 at Cell and then blast through her, hitting the bomb inside her and blowing him up? ...or was that bomb not as strong as the one #16 had inside him?

I realize he could regenerate but I'm sure everyone could have started blasting the tiny pieces before they grew into a full Cell.

I can't imagine anyone who was there to even think of doing that. But if they did, the explosion wouldn't be powerful enough to kill Cell. My opinion.

Auto-destructions are much more powerfull than any other techniques. In fact Cell was quite scared when no.16 said he would blow himself with him, and is there any reason to think that no.17 and 18 have different bombs?

It's not so unlikely, after all Cell wasn't perfect anymore and still killed full-power Super Saiyan Goku...

It is filler, although I don't believe Cell even catches it, it just hits him to no effect. Been awhile though.

Cell's immunity to Krillin's Kienzan may have been filler, but I don't think it's hard to believe that's what would happen if Krillin tried. Krillin wasn't much stronger from when he'd helped with Freeza in his 2nd form, and Perfect Cell was infinitely more powerful than that, let along Super Perfect Cell. I don't think it would have cut him, personally. Otherwise, you could argue that Saiyan Saga Krillin could cut Super Perfect Cell with a Kienzan.

I concur. I've always felt that, while there's no evidence for a Kienzan failing before, and that it's a good way to stop a much stronger opponent, it could very well fail against an enemy so powerful that his defense is greater than the damage threshold of the ki inside a Kienzan.

My idea was always similar to the Kienzan one, except it was aiming a Taiyo-ken at Cell's face during the struggle.

Although when I think about it now, I'm not sure if they could have blinded Cell without blinding Gohan as well.
