It seems to give Goku a "new form" based off his appearance when he took down the Ginyu Force in hell, one that allows him to transform into either SS or SS2 depending on some variable I assume.

You don't have to translate the whole thing, just anything of interest.

New Card Action - "Super-Awakening Change"

"Whenever your Card Actions are Successful/Ultra Successful, you may activate the form-changing mechanic, "Super-Awakening Change."

In the example shown, when Goku's Kamehame-ha Card Action is performed Successfully, he can become a Super Saiyan, but when his Card Action is performed Ultra Successfully, he can become a Super Saiyan 2.

It's similar to the Awakening mechanic in the Duel Masters Trading Card Game.

NeoKING! Translation please! lol I don't care who actually does it, but it seems like you're always the one who translates my DB Heroes requests here. Anyway, same request as last time. Whoever decides to translate doesn't have to do the whole thing, just anything of interest (which actually seems like most of the two pages this time). It relates to a new character in the game, but it seems the character is based on some sort of group member...or an idol, or something, I dunno.

So basically, there will be a JamBang special where Engineer Yoshito-kun and Battle Princess Tama-chan will showcase the team they used to beat Heroes(the story mode, I guess?), and Akina Minami(who I guess is some idol) has her own special female Saiyan avatar called "Akiina."

Glad to see that Heroes is apparently having success in the arcades. It looks fun.

Thanks for the help again. So, what are the orange boxes with the numbers and dates next to Akiina on this page? http://www.carddas.com/dbh/news/37.html Is that where they are going to reveal the fighters they used, or are they planning on showing off more new avatar characters or something?

I'd like to know what's said in the first panel of this page.

I believe it says how much time has passed (I see number 3 ^^), because Trunks looks way more grown up/mature from that page on.

In one of the filler episodes before the Cell Games, Gyumao was suggesting names for baby Gohan. They were:
Gyumataro
Gyumahiko
Gyumanosuke
Gyumashin
Gyumantohihi
Gyumasuki
I'm assuming the "Gyuma" part means Ox-Demon. I was wondering what they meant.

I think the "suki" part from "Gyuumasuki" means "love/like" and "taro" (IIRC) was a common name for males in ancient Japan.

Allow me to elobarate.

-tarou (太郎) = Eldest (Litterally: Plump) Son
-hiko (彦) = Prince (Derived from Hi no Ko (日の子) = Child of The Sun)
-nosuke (之助) = Assistant/Helper (of); Archaic japanese suffix found in various job titles.
-(no)shin (進) = Progress/Promotion

I have no idea what -ntohihi is supposed to mean however although I do believe that hihi (狒々) means "baboon".

And Goku100xKamehameha has pretty much explained what -suki means.

I was about to make a thead, but saw this, so have to ask. What does "Kaiju" mean? I know Viz referred to Giran as "Kaiju Giran" and was wondering what it meant, and was the Funimation dub's "Monster-Beast Giran" a close enough translation.

It basically means "strange beast", but "monster" is a pretty standard English translation. Godzilla is kaiju--or a daikaiju (great/giant monster?), technically.

The new Saiyan(Female) Avatars are slower than previous Avatars seen, but they have powerful Abilities:

- Hero-type

Ability: Powerful Soul

When you win a Combat Power fight, increase your Power.

- Elite-type

Ability: Barrier Soul

When you win a Combat Power fight, increase your Cards.

- Berserker-type

Ability: When you win a Combat Power fight, increase the Damage you deal to the enemy.

Also, when the Hero-type performs a Tag with Goku and Bardock, you'll form a Special Ultimate Unit. It's up to you to unlock the potential of this special unit(in other words: use the damn unit because awesome shit will happen, lol).

Hmm...interesting in a way I suppose. lol

http://www.carddas.com/dbh/cardlist/?se ... ory=133004

I'm trying to maintain the DB Wiki's page on this game, at least for the characters, I'm working on the rest of the article. I've looked over all the cards that have characters with tag teams and stuff trying to determine the playable forms, but some of those without kind of confuse me still.

The wikia lists some characters with forms I don't think have been included, but then I can't be sure since I don't read Japanese. It's easy to understand what the forms are when it shows a picture of a character and then just has the form below it, like: "超サイヤ人". I can tell that is Super Saiyan when it is by itself, but not in a giant mass of text. lol

I was wondering if someone could glance over the cards and see what it says about these characters:

Childhood Gohan - Is his "Unlocked Potential" form from the Saichourou's power up included?
Piccolo - I know there are at least two Piccolo forms, what do they call them? I think one just says Normal or Base or something, while the other is a fusion, but I can't tell it is with Nail or Kami.
Vegeta - Has SS2 been included, not including "Majin"? What does it call his buff form?
Cell - What does it call his Buff form?

1. Yajirobe Saiyan Saga Vs 23rd Budokai Piccolo

1. I say Yajirobe rapes 23rd Budokai Piccolo. V Jump gave him a power level of 970 and thats official which puts him leagues above 23rd Budokai Goku/Piccolo.

Wrong thread bro. I guess the first part of the title got you confused.
