The Cold Empires after the rulers die?
Re: The Cold Empires after the rulers die?
A fragmented 'Cold Empire' with superpowerful warlords (the equivalents of Dodoria and Zarbon) vying for supremacy.
Actually... I'd probably like that more than the Buu Saga.

Re: The Cold Empires after the rulers die?
I think "Freeza's empire", "Coola's empire" and "Cold's empire" are all an entire "Cold Empire", with Freeza as the main fuel while King Cold ran things from the shadows. I think this was stated in the Daizenshuus, and it's somewhat supported by the manga, since Cold mentions that "their clan" must be the strongest in the universe.
Anyway, I think many of them had a big party/big parties a la The Matrix Reloaded. Perhaps they would've set up businesses of their own, and a number of which may've been the same or similar kind of planet-conquering and selling businesses that Freeza ran. Perhaps others would've been unable to cope in their life of peace and would've felt empty and bored without working under Freeza, and ended up finding excuses to beat up or kill people, or beat up or kill people just for the hell of it. A bit like Cody from Street Fighter and Final Fight. Perhaps there would've been outbreaks and riots in space as a result, and perhaps, in a sinister twist of fate, it would've been even worse than when the Cold Empire was around, since the Cold Empire wouldn't have always been destroying planets willy-nilly. This would all make for a great fanfic, methinks.
And I don't think Goku decided to use Shunkan Ido and eradicate every single of remains of them. He's not a superhero, and nor are the rest of the warriors. They only killed Freeza because they were directly involved with them, and Goku didn't even kill Recoom and Butta because he didn't feel the need to. The only thing he cares about is fighting worthy opponents.

I'm sure that if they really wanted to then Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan could've done gravity training on a space ship while stopping off at various Freeza planets for "practice" or whatever, but I'm kind of glad they didn't.Michsi wrote:No, they're not. But I don't think they could have done anything either. Right after Freeza they had to prepare for the Androids and after that , the only full time fighters left were Piccolo and Vegeta and maybe Tenshinhan and from these 3, only Vegeta probably knew his way around the galaxy and I don't see him caring enough.Kendamu wrote:Going by the Jump Special, if Freeza still has remnants running around harassing people, then it just goes to prove that Goku and his friends aren't superheroes. They took care of what they were directly involved in and went back to their normal lives for awhile until some other trouble got in their way.

... Vegeta says that Freeza sent him, but is there any proof he wasn't just talking smack to scare Kuriza? Granted, Kuriza should have known that Freeza was dead by that point, but... Eagh.

Vegeta is also well aware that he's appearing in a gag manga, so I don't think it should be taken so seriously.caejones wrote:Re: Neko Majin Z 3

Intergalatic civil war I'd guess. Like a bunch of different factions composed mostly of old minions scrambling for their piece of the pie and trying to establish dominance over the other warlords.
