Bebi: Villain or Heroic Sociopath?

Post by Shineman » Mon Jun 20, 2011 3:59 pm

As the title states.

Bebi's reason was wanting to destroy the Saiyans for killing off his race, however, he went insane while doing so. Do you think Bebi is a Heroic Sociopath or just plain out a Villain?

The best villains are the ones with warped senses of justice that in actuality are senses of selfish vengeance. But they're villains nonetheless. Baby falls into that category.

Isn't a Heroic Sociapath basically just an insane murderer who just happens to be on the heroes side, and could turn on them at any moment where it happens to be convenient to do so? That's the impression I got from T.V. tropes.

In any case, I vote "flat out villain", for the way he just tossed Bulma aside as he tried to flee the planet after losing to Goku. At least with him killing his people, you could argue that it was his Oozaru senses that were making him insane.

Well, he never does anything remotely heroic, so I don't see how he could be a heroic anything.

"Sociopath" isn't equivalent to "insane murderer", just as "indigestion" isn't equivalent to having one of those alien babies burst out of your chest.

He's definitely a villain for wanting to rule the universe and force people to be tuffles just like a puppet on strings.

I never implied that. I was just saying, that's the picture I had in my mind after reading T.V. Tropes.

Total villain. He took and control of and planned to rule over all Earthlings, who had nothing to do with what the Saiyans' crimes.
