Weird. I thought I had all of these saved, but I'm missing that one as well. I'm missing a couple. They're all supposed to be 1280x1024, right?

I have: 1-4, 6-8, 10-31, 32-36 are 900x720, and 37-49.

So I need: 5, 9, and better 32-36.

Edit: Nevermind, I see that gallery has the better ones I needed. They're missing 9 too. Hmm...

Also, I noticed I'm missing the 3 DB movies. I have the 13 Z movies and the 10th Anniversary movie. Missing those 3 somehow. Did they do wallpapers for those?

Yeah, that's for the actual covers. The wallpapers are the cover art on a black background with no text.

I noticed this thread a couple days ago, but never actually got around to clearing some things up. So here we go...

First of all, these were originally promotional screen savers posted on Shueisha's official DVD release site, which have all been shutdown for years now. These screen savers would highlight the current batch of individual Dragon Box DVDs being released. The cover art of the DVD would slowly fade onto the screen, over the dark gray background covered in various kana characters, and then its relevant information would appear next to it. The screen saver would continue to rotate through the three DVDs. Here's how the screen saver actually looked with the text and everything:



So these wallpapers are actually just screen shots of the screen savers without any of the promo text, which have then been passed off as wallpapers. I'll admit though, they do make some nice wallpapers.

Anyway, the reason why you can't find a wallpaper for the fifth and ninth DVDs is because they don't exist. These screen savers weren't released until individual DVD volumes 10-12 were released. There were no screen savers made for volumes 1-9. All those wallpapers for 1-9 are fakes that someone made by slapping a scan of the DVD cover over a screen shot of the screen saver's kana background. Notice how in all of the official ones that the cover art is on the left, while on fakes it's on the right? The official ones also all feature a copyright listing over the cover art. That's why I never posted volumes 1-9 on Kanzentai, because they're not legit. Now I'm not saying that there's anything wrong with them, I'm just telling you what they actually are... fakes. That's what they are.

The DragonBall series and DragonBall The Movies releases also got screen savers, but for some reason they did actually do wallpapers instead of screen savers for the GT DVD releases. As far as I know there was no screen saver for the three DragonBall movie DVDs, since they were the last three to be released, and therefore there are no wallpapers.

Thanks for the clarification Hujio. I thought I remembered something about a screensaver, but thought that was something in addition to the wallpapers. lol

Now, someone should get on with making 5, 9 and the 3 DB movies for us.
