Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
I always thought Oozaru Vegeta crushing Goku and Cargo's murder by Dodoria were pretty violent. At least, they always bothered me.
So mondo lame.

Take a look at this Scott, it's the beatdown by Piccolo to GokucRookie_Monster wrote:First thing that came to mind for me was Krillin getting impaled by Freeza.
You don't see individual deaths, but Freeza blowing up planet Vegeta and Buu killing everyone on Earth are pretty violent moments. More violence is implied there then all the other scenes put together really.
I honestly haven't seen some of the disturbing scenes people are discussing. I saw a lot of flashbacks of the Piccolo\Goku fight and it looked pretty bad, but I never watched the actual episodes.

Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
Whether it be energy blasts or horns, characters being impaled is about as worse as it gets for me. I'm a fairly squeamish fellow. Goku and Android 13's "interaction" makes me feel more empathic than nauseated, but perhaps I'm just being stange.
Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
Most people share the same as mine but here's one I don't see mentioned much.
* Gohan fighting ReaCoom- getting his neck broken- was especially horrifying as he's so little and young. Especially when Goku finds him.

It is in his character to be rude and a bit crass. He's a hick, with no formal education. That is Son Goku. That is who he is.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned this one:

Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
Dende's brother Cargo getting burned to death is pretty nasty. I also think that scene best replicates what a "blast of energy" would probably actually do to you; ignoring the huge ones that disintegrate everything.

Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
I've never seen Ma Junior torturing Goku before, but as a kid, seeing the Freeza arc over and over again (Cartoon Network, the DVD releases, Kai, etc.), I always found Zarbon beating on Vegeta for information on the Dragon Balls while he's in the water so sickening. Well, Zarbon's whole time transformed was pretty nasty. I don't find his death violent because he had what was coming to him.
An interviewer asks, "The soundtrack in Sonic 3 has become legendary. Is it true that you worked with Michael Jackson on it?" Takashi Iizuka kills all of our hopes and dreams by replying, "You know, those are just rumors, and SEGA does not want to say anything about them. So they will forever be just rumors..." WHY!?

Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
There wasn't anything really that violent by my chart. Shooting someone with blast of energy and drawn is less violent and disturbing for me then Luke's handaway in ESB.
But what really was awesome, when Buu got into one of those wealthy hunters and expanding from his innards causing quite a conditioner dough + water effect

Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
I think DBZ was a little too violent. The body part amputation was a bit much. The fights were definitely the low point of the series for me. But, then again it's anime and not live action, so I don't think anything can be particularly violent or "most violent."
Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
That is what made it so awesome. My main problem wasn't the violence but the lack of graphic nudity. I mean who doesnt want to see Bulma x Vegeta or even Goku x Vegeta. Well at least I have my hentai.SuperAndroid11 wrote:I think DBZ was a little too violent. The body part amputation was a bit much. The fights were definitely the low point of the series for me. Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
Another scene which I found quite disturbing was when Cell absorbed Android 18. It's not that violent, but it's really freaky.

That was really unnerving. I think it was cut from the german version.SSJSteve wrote:Another scene which I found quite disturbing was when Cell absorbed Android 18. It's not that violent, but it's really freaky.

Re: Most Violent Moment in the Series
Does anyone know how many nut shots there were in DBZ (they would all be brutal)? I don't recall that many. (for lolz - http://www.collegehumor.com/video/65674 ... ot-edition)
