Appeared on a magazine from spain, a videogame magazine, named "Hobby Consolas" in the 1997 or 98 (I can't remember). I can ensure you, that what I'm talking about it's true, because I'm spanish xD. These image, was sent by a lector of the magazine on the comment and question section. It's very funny to know that Dragon Ball AF has his origin on Spain by a guy who sent a drawing to a videogame magazine. I would want to know if he knows what he did xDD.
And I think that's NOT goku ss5, I think he's Vegetto ss4, because, the image, with more quality, has got Pottala earings, and about the colour, it's just different, like Gogeta ss4, so I'm pretty sure is Vegetto.
That's a very EPIC FAIL from toyble, this other guy and other fanarts xD

Are you sure about that? Did you get this issue when it first came out or something? If so, do you think you could possibly get any better quality pictures of it? If there were really potaras in that black smudge part (could the person who scanned it have rubbed that out just to hide that fact and claim it was a ssj5? Conspiracy...) of that poor quality scan then I think it probably was supposed to be a mock up ssj4 Vegetto. If ssj4 logic can give Gogeta red hair then I don't see why Vegetto can't have white hair. And what would a picture like that be doing in a gaming magazine? It must have directly addressed the picture if it was from there, so what did it say about it? And most importantly, what did "AF" stand for?

If that turned out to be true, I can't help but wonder how so many would feel to find out that all this time what they've thought was meant to be a ssj5 was really a ssj4 with ssj4-fusion-logic attached.

The Story so Far
Up until now Goku and co. have grown and grown as they’ve fought numerous powerful enemies. And so, they defeated their strongest enemy, Yi Xing Long, after a grueling battle. Three years have gone by since that fierce fight.

With Goku gone, the Earth was peaceful…But across the universe, “Ize”, the son of Goku’s vanquished enemy Freeza, was born. In search of strong opponents, he comes to Earth, where Gohan and the other warriors of Earth stand against him.

Ize's strength far surpasses anything that Gohan and the others imagined; in order to oppose him, Gohan and Vegeta transform into Super Saiyan 4s.

And now the time has come for Ize's true power to be unveiled...

This Super Saiyan 4 version of Gohan makes its debut in AF. His face is exactly the same as Goku's, so his hair is raised up to visually distinguish them. He automatically transforms after being bathed in Bruits Waves.
[normal Gohan] During AF, Gohan is approximately 39 years old; he was around 36 during GT. His appearance and his style are largely unchanged. This is due to him having a long youthful period, on account of his Saiyan blood.

In AF, Gohan transforms into a Super Saiyan 5 too. He awakens to Super Saiyan 5 when his anger surpasses its limits after witnessing Pan killed before his eyes.

His initial appearance it mostly the same as Freeza's final form, but his eye and skin color are different, plus his chest and face have red markings. Because he built up a lot of stress during his long thawing period, Ize travelled around the universe looking for powerful foes.

His body has enlarged, and his power and speed have vastly increased. Even Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta wasn't able to scratch him.

With a perfect body concealing power over 10 times greater than Freeza's, he's without a doubt become a foe stronger than any seen before.

He's about 62 years old during AF. It's hard to believe that Vegeta is more than middle-aged, but even now he continues his training. You could say that Vegeta is a Saiyan's Saiyan.

[ ] Super Saiyan 3
AF features his Super Saiyan 3 form, which didn't appear in the main story. By training every day during the 3 years following the battle with Yi Xing Long, Vegeta has become able to transform into a Super Saiyan 3 under his own power.

[ ] Super Saiyan 4
This Super Saiyan 4 version of Vegeta appeared in GT. Unable to freely become a Super Saiyan 4 the same way Goku can, Vegeta uses Bruits Waves to force a transformation. Also, n AF he's had Bulma build a pocket-sized Bruits Wave Generator.

She's about 16 years old in AF. Now a high school student, Pan attends a school in West City. Her grades are good and she's great at sports too, yet since her grandfather is Satan, she doesn't get asked out by boys very often...

Oob
He's around 19 in AF. He disguises himself as Papaya Man to take care of bad guys in the city , and is hailed as the city's hero. And then after winning the Tenkaichi Budoukai, Oob promises to protect the city's peace as Satan's successor.

Trunks
He's about 30 in AF, and continues to serve as Capsule Corporation's president. He also has a somewhat independent spirit, and apparently hasn't cured his habit of ditching his job midway through the day...

Son Goten
Around 29 in AF, Goten has married the rich heiress Palace, who appeared in GT. What's more, to secure his marriage he had Trunks pull some strings for him so that he now works at Capsule Corporation.

Gotenks
This adult Gotenks, who didn't appear in GT, makes its debut in AF.

Young Jijii's Dragon Ball AF Setup, Explanations

---What drove you to make AF?
I was influenced by the work of a certain doujinshi artist and started thinking that I should draw it. Also, I've been drawing DB since I was a kid, and feel like it was all leading up to me drawing AF.

---Now, about Ize....
Since this is a continuation of DB, the first thing I thought up was a powerful enemy. I hit upon this idea after reading the DBGT fan books, which said how all the enemy characters that appear in GT come from past enemies. So I came up with Freeza and his family being from the Planet Winter, and to explain why Ize could be stronger than a Super Saiyan 4 I thought up the idea of Freeza's family entering a thawing period immediately after birth, with them getting stronger the longer it takes them to thaw. Visually, I imagined him being a combination of Freeza and Coola. Ize is a pun on "ice".

---And about the transformations into Super Saiyan 4 and 5
I hear that in the foreign AF, they transform as far as Super Saiyan 13, or something like that...But taking it that far is pointless, so for my own AF I settled on 5 as the limit (probably). Still, since it's AF it's only fitting that it include characters and transformations not seen in the main DB story.

---Where's AF heading?
I think there are people looking forward to it continuing, so while I can't be too concrete, it won't end with this Ize storyline. In fact, you could probably even call the upcoming story the main chapter. I hope that you all will continue to support me and Dragon Ball AF.

AF takes place 3 years after GT. GT lasted a year. GT officially takes place 5 years after Z.

Son Gohan

Since Gohan was about 26 years old at the end of DBZ and the author says he's 36 years old during GT, Young Jijii seems to think GT takes place 10 years after Z instead of the official 5.

This one is weird though. Vegeta is born in age 732, making him 52 years old at the end of DBZ(physically 54 due to RoSaT), yet if 14 years passes between Z and AF then Vegeta should be 66(68). But the fact that he's about 62 possibly hints at the author changing his/her mind concerning the time gap between Z and GT, because if going by the official 5 year timeskip, GT lasting a year and then AF's 3 year timeskip, Vegeta ends up as 61(63) years old.

Pan
She's about 16 years old in AF. Now a high school student, Pan attends a school in West City.

This one is assuming a ten year timeskip between Z and GT apparently.

Oob

Oob was 10 years old at the end of Z, going by the 10 year timeskip idea he'd be 20 at the beginning of GT and 21 at the end, add on another 3 years and he should be about 24 years old in AF, yet he is not.
Going by the 5 year timeskip, Oob is 15-16 years old in GT and 19 years old in AF, so it seems like another case where the author went with the official timeskip.

Trunks
He's about 30 in AF, and continues to serve as Capsule Corporation's president.

Son Goten
Around 29 in AF, Goten has married the rich heiress Palace, who appeared in GT.

18/17 at the end of Z assuming a ten year timeskip between Z and GT they would respectively be 32/31 in AF.
Assuming the official timeskip of 5 years, they would respectively be 27/26 in AF, so it seems like another case of the 10 year timeskip.

All in all the author was apparently confused as he/she was making these character profiles.
