TheDevilsCorpse kinda beat me to it but, adding to that comment, Goku didn't die on Namek. And if you wanna go by pure canon, Goku
is the one that became the saiyan of the legend.
I think he might die anyway, like DNA said as well, but perhaps more along the lines of Raichi (Lychee?) in the Plan to Erradicate the Super Saiyans, where he fulfills his purpose and dies off screen.

Maybe he sacrifices himself to kill Chilled.
Yup, i wanna see her properly answer them herself as well. I kinda just took it as a weird break in the Space-Time continuum and didn't think much of it, but i don't think it's right to leave it at that lol.
I thought the first chapter explained who they are though. Planet Plant - Bardock states was the prior name of Planet Vegeta. Healing juices - Stated to feel like the ones in the healing pods. Ipana and Berry - Fruit people. They're Tsufurians, right?
I'd love the mindfuck of Chilled being Kid Freeza

(Bardock does keep screaming "Freeza" over and over...and by Pokemon logic, a "Chilled" would evolve into a "Freeza"....someone please make that an animated gif...). And going by the Cell arc, this would've created a
new timeline...in which Freeza is killed by the "Legendary Super Saiyan", that sacrifices himself and comunicates with baby Goku on the pod one last time (or with adult Goku as he transforms).
Doesn't Bardock fit so well next to Lychee in Multiverse right now?
