Is this the real Akira Toriyama on Facebook and Twitter?
This person claim to be the Real Akira Toriyama. They need to be reported for fraud. I swear. People have to much time on their hands.

Yes, the habitually private creator of Dragon Ball would certainly create a Twitter, and Facebook account in legible English, French, talk about lewd things in public, and certainly take credit for things like Dragon Ball GT, and its non-existent movies. Sounds like good ole' Toriyama alright.
People on the internet do silly things for attention. This is nothing more than that.

"I like the money it brings in, but Dragon Ball Heroes is the worst. That's actually the real reason I decided to start working on new material. I was afraid Bandai would make something irredeemably stupid like Super Saiyan 4 Broly." - Akira Toriyama, made up interview, 2013.

I am not such a fan of Facebook or Twitter communities, but it always bothered me why a large number of people, including journals, are fooled by accounts impersonating celebrities.
Is it really that someone else simply registered an account with the name of another person?
Sometimes it's not even made with malice, someone register an account which his avatar (including nickname) is a celebrity instead of fictional characters.

Really, what is there to be skeptical of?Totally Really the Real Non-Fake Akira Toriyama on Facebook wrote:finally someone who speaks english no offense to the people that dont its just i cant understand spanish
Seriously though, both the Facebook and Twitter accounts are pretty blatantly fake. I think the Twitter guy might be a joke instead of someone seriously pretending to be Toriyama, but my Spanish sucks so I'm not sure. His attempt at writing "I am Akira Toriyama" in Japanese seems intentionally bad, anyway.
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?
Sometimes, I tweet things

Is that really a picture of him, or is it some random Japanese guy?
Re: Is this the real Akira Toriyama on Facebook and Twitter
Yeah, that's Toriyama. Search for images of him in Google.

It's incredibly obvious that they're both fake
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

I picture Toriyama in a little house somewhere in a foresty area in Japan, sort of how Goku was in the beginning of the series. He is cut off from society. Sometimes he goes fishing, sometimes he goes hunting, sometime he just does whatever the hell he wants. I know it isn't true, but believe me, he still wouldn't ever create a facebook/twitter page.
