Re: Where does this artwork come from?
I posted this earlier as my favorite Gohan costume. Why was this shot chosen for the end credits? Other than just looking awesome. Is there a reason?

Thanks for the answers guys.
From what I remember of Journey to the West it looks like Gohan is wearing the same clothing as the Pig character. Which is sorta strange since Dragon Ball already has Oolong as the equivalent to that character.Bussani wrote:

This is a different era, if it was early on then it would definitely be Bulma, Goku, Oolong and Yamcha.InThere wrote:Thanks for the answers guys.

Your friend was right. It's from the series Doragon Boru Doubutsu, or Dragon Ball Animals. It was only aired in Japan, and as your friend said, the characters of Dragon Ball have animal powers bestowed upon them. It got cancelled after 20 episodes, I believe.InThere wrote:I asked my friend why Goku and everyone in the picture are wearing different clothing and I was told that it was promotional artwork for a canceled season of the anime where different characters were given powers of animals
Don't listen to the people in this thread, they're just jealous because they haven't seen it.

Kanzentai has pictures of all those. They're just random pictures that features in Jump and other such magazines.
