I just don't enjoy this game.
The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

The computer for the most part plays the game for you & if you get hit just 4 times then the Quick time event happens you're screwed. The game is over! you might as well set the controller down.
Because you just get hit with endless combos. I hate the fighting engine in this game that's all. No offence to anyone who is having a blast with this game,
but in my Opinion this is ''quite frankly'' the worst Dragonball game in a long time that I've put up for sale. or want get rid of fast
Sounds like you're judging the game from your player skill, because I hardly ever have a problem with the game minus mashing the four face buttons to recover.
Good lord so he can only judge if he becomes your definition of good? When a person gets access to a gain and plays it regardless of game skill, they can judge it as much as they want. Clearly he doesn't like it and that is fine. Every persons experience with a game is different. He doesn't do well with the games controls, you do well. Every person is different, this fanbase is not some big clone colony or hive mind, and therefore not everyone is gonna enjoy the game. Your starting to become elitist.

Well after watching this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P3UcjH2O ... ture=feedu I defiantly want to play this game now.

But one thing I notice is that Spike's animations will always be some what stiff no matter how much better they get.
It's not too late. One day, it will be.

...I don't see how I'm being elitist by saying he's kinda judging the game from his player skill and his bad experiences. I respect his opinion, of course, but where did I say he can't not like this game?

And whats wrong with that? That is how people generally judge a game, from their experiences.

Folks, you all really need to work on your post clarity. I'm reading these responses back and forth, and not only are they bordering on rudely-antagonistic, but half the time they don't even make any sense when read back-to-back.

Remember that you are expected to be courteous with your fellow fans, and to proof-read your posts before making them. Press that "Preview" button before submitting. Re-read your posts. Does it make sense? Is it polite? If not, you shouldn't be posting it!

Keep your ki up. The higher it is, the less you have to tap.

I would go as far as to say you cannot stop a combo at all if you don't have any ki.

I'm definitely not buying the game, but I really like the music in those cut-scenes!

I received the collectors edition in the mail yesterday, and so far I've spent maybe an hour with the game (mostly the tutorial and a couple of story mode fights)

I guess the way I would sum up the game at the moment is, "non-interactive".

Spike have come up with more contextual mini-games, but stripped out the actual core fighting, it really just feels like they turned B3's Dragon Rush into it's own standalone game.

I said that about RB1. I never bought it. I said that about RB2. I never bought it. And I'm saying that now about UT.

This was posted in the Pre-Release Discussion thread. Maybe the last two are for when you summon the Dragons? I don't have the game, so I don't even know if you summon them for anything or not.

I think I'll be quiet. VegettoEX is right.
plus I might sound elitist.

You're right. I found that out last night. Wow. That's... kinda stupid. I thought my tapping skills weren't good enough for the game's standards, lol.

So yeah... today I finished "Story Mode". What I hate the most about the game is that everything, well most things, are well done... but then the fighting... It's just ... bleh...

After I finished the "Story Mode" I tried the "Hero Mode". Hmm, pretty cool, but still, the fights are just boring. I will probably never play this game anymore. The fighting kinds of reminds of DBZ Legends...which is a step backwards, in my opinion. The game requires no skill whatsoever. The only thing you need to know is how the mechanics work and have luck.

I hate that I was so excited for this game. What a let down. Good for those who enjoy it. I wish I could feel the same way...

The Great Ape and Great Ape Baby fights would have been more interesting if at some point you could turn into one, too.
I mean, they all have tails, why not?

They said DLC is a possibility, but if they work on it, it will cut into the time the next game has to be developed...so everyone might as well just stop asking/hoping for anything and wait for the inevitable second installment.
Direct translations of the Korean DB Online timeline and guidebook.
My personal "canon" and BP list. (Coming Soon)

Isn't the Japanese version coming out in December? If so, then surely they are getting extra content as some kind of compensation for waiting two more months than everyone else. Maybe DLC will be the extra content from the Japanese version (if any).
