Dragon Ball Z Movie Pack 1 & 2 (1-9) DVD sets at RightStuf!
Re: Dragon Ball Z Movie Pack 1 & 2 (1-9) DVD sets at RightSt
Alright, after reading the "Dead Zone" description on that box art, I'm now imagining the alternate-universe version of this movie where when Garlic Jr. tries to kidnap Gohan, Gohan turns SSJ2 while "refusing to surrender his own magic orb." Very different path for the film.

I will actually be picking up box 1 in a couple of days, And if no pictures of the first box has been posted, Then I will be uploading them on here.
Also I will be able to answer the question about the English audio for the Cooler movie. Because it was out of sync in the Remastered DVD's. And I will answer any other questions
Edit - I forgot to ask Am I aloud to post those pictures on here?

The Dragonboxes are like a middle aged woman who still looks good through simply taking good care of her skin and body with maybe a tiny bit of makeup while the Orange Bricks are like a middle aged woman who get's 50 tons of botox, makeup and plastic surgery in order to look younger and as a result looks even worse. ~ ringworm128

I'm sure you won't get in trouble for that. If it's like the ol' Dragon Box threads, you'll be able to post the film frame by frame!samuraix123 wrote:I will actually be picking up box 1 in a couple of days, And if no pictures of the first box has been posted, Then I will be uploading them on here.

What I'll be curious about is if they kept the FUNimation Music track which was missing from the TV Specials when they re-(re)-released them as singles (broken from the Double Features) a few years ago.

Here's a video of it.

I have to admit, those covers are nice, definitely more presenting than the Steelbooks, was surprised that they didn't change the disc labels to match the DB Movies 1-4 set. But I'm passing on these since I have all seven Double Features as well as all the original singles. Hopefully they do release the Dragon Box version in the future.

They are the exact same discs as the double features, not just the labels. I don't have this set because I have all of the steelbooks, but that is what I think the case is.BluezaBladeNZ wrote:I have to admit, those covers are nice, definitely more presenting than the Steelbooks, was surprised that they didn't change the disc labels to match the DB Movies 1-4 set. I know that, I was expecting only the labels to be changed like they did for the DB Kai seasons and One Piece collections.DB_Fan1991 wrote:They are the exact same discs as the double features, not just the labels. The best part is, by the time these sets have finished their run, we'll have redone covers for all 13 movies!
Re: Dragon Ball Z Movie Pack 1 & 2 (1-9) DVD sets at RightSt
We already have redone covers for the 13 movies. All the covers seem a lot like Spain's covers for their "remasterings".funrush wrote:The best part is, by the time these sets have finished their run, we'll have redone covers for all 13 movies!

If you're not here soon... GET ON!

So I went ahead & got the first Movie Pack. Certainly worth the price, and I'll just have to double-dip if Funimation ever does release a Dragon Box Movies.
Here's some scans...
Front of Outer Box:

Outside Cover of Movies 1 & 2:

Inside Case of Movies 1 & 2:

Outside Cover of Movies 3 & 4:

Inside Case of Movies 3 & 4:

Outside Cover of Movie 5:

Inside Case of Movie 5:

Inside Cover of Movie 5: (All three cases have the same reverse image)

I'm a little let-down in the sense that I was hoping for full size, non-slim cases, or at least a separate slim-case for each film. But for the price, certainly still a decent set. I've yet to watch any, so no word on the misplaced music or anything.

interesting it really is just the packaging of the discs I thought at least they would change the image on the disc.
Re: Dragon Ball Z Movie Pack 1 & 2 (1-9) DVD sets at RightSt
They should have done what they did with the DB set and have the original movie poster on the back.

Has anyone seen this at a Wal-Mart? I was planning on picking up the GT set tomorrow and was hoping I'd see this there.

I found a pretty obvious grammatical error in the movie descriptions on the back of the box; the last sentence in the blurb for Coolers Revenge is missing the word to.
It reads: The monster seeks vengeance, and he'll destroy the entire planet get what he came for!
But should read: The monster seeks vengeance, and he'll destroy the entire planet to get what he came for!

You could easlily modify the covers and make them where they would fit into normal sized 2 disc dvd covers... That's what I'll Be doing....
