It taught me:
-Some japanese words and phrases, which is always nice.
-To not judge a book by its cover.
-"Power is everything."
Oh wait, that's from Tekken.

It's taught me that fans are stubborn dicks.

It's taught me to be more conservative with my money. (Thanks, re-re-re-releases!)

It's taught me the simple joys of watching space monkeys smack each other around.

It's helped me gain an appreciation of orchestral music, especially film & TV scores. (Thanks, Kikuchi!)

It's taught me that older anime can still be entertaining to watch and in many cases trounce what is airing today. Hence why I've been on an 80s/90s anime kick for a couple years now (things like Fist of the North Star, Gundam, Galaxy Express 999), and I've barely even glanced at any of the newer titles coming out now.
Nothing matters (in a cosmic sense.) Have a good time.

DBZ taught me a lot about Shounen manga. Mostly about the structure and pace. Main characters are introduced, threat arrives, some sort of training or power boost is needed, defeats the main villain, 50/50 chance of the villain becoming friends with the main protagonist thus joining the cast of colorful characters, rinse and repeat.

Same here since it made me check more anime and Dragon Ball made me want to become a comic book artist as well since I love to draw fighting scenes.

Dragon Ball Z has taught me that if you get really, really angry, your hair will turn blonde. :)

This is pretty much my exact response except for the fact that I still do watch newer anime.

This reminds me of one old e-mail that was publicly put up on Mr. E's old planetnamek.com site. It involved a kid who got bullied around by some other kid and one day, the bullied kid got so fed up with the bullying that he screamed KAIO-KEN!!!! at the top of his lungs and beat the other bully up with three hard punches to the face. Mr. E considered that a lesson to kids on dealing with bullying. :)

Though it was more this forum then the series, I have learned a lot about film remastering and to never believe a trailer that says how great grain removal is.

Well... thanks to DragonBall I am who I am, just like that. :) Has it taught me anything in particular? I don't know, but it has influenced me, in some way...

If you kidnap all of a villages young girls, there will be no negative repercussions.
Oh, you think the Grand Tour is your ally, you merely stepped into the Grand Tour. I was born in it, moulded by it. I didn’t see the Super until I was already a man; by then, it was nothing to me but blinding!

Dbz taught me how to have pride in the place I'm from. I became appreciative all on my own but Vegeta really taught me how to WORK IT. Fun!

I wouldn't say "learned" but after watching Movie 3 I always feel like a bad ass when I eat fruit (especially Lychees). Also welcome to Daizex SpacePie8.
