I wouldn' mind, but I have a feeling that it uses stories from the manga only.

Dragon Ball GT SD would be meta levels of glorified fanfiction.

Was the new Saikyo Jump released early Octomber? :? Why? Shouldn't it be releashed this December?

Well, that was short. Only 4 Chapters? Kinda disappointing. Here's hoping they tackle GT at some point.

Goodbye Dragon Ball SD! We hardly knew (or cared about) you!

Wait, what? That was it? Oh...kay...

Well, goodbye and good riddance to SD.
Maybe Ooishi should've taken a page out of whoever is drawing Rock Lee's Springtime of Youth's book and make a side story that was actually funny....instead of trying to recreate the events that are already in the manga...and making it not good.

I'm curious to find out if the recreation of the sagas was her idea or not. I would have liked an original story too, if only for the opportunity to see how she is as a story teller.

Btw, how much do we know about her? Any interviews or some such? Sometimes these special releases come with a comment or two.

She did this thing called "Episode of Bardock". It wasn't all that great either (but at least it was interesting in that it was something new)

I have read that, but it didn't feel like "hers" since I know the idea belongs to a game. I'm not sure how much the execution of that idea was thought up by her. What I'm trying to say, is she more than just an artist for DB.

I wasn't crazy about the Episode of Bardock either .

Hmm, I thought it was actually interesting that the whole chapter went without a single Super Saiyan transformation of any sort.

That was pretty lame. No fusion, no U. Gohan, no M. Vegeta.

My first time actually reading through one of these in their entirety.

The only thing I can think of that's more pointless than this is telling Chris Hansen that she said she was 18.

Why exactly is that interesting? More like a nonsense.

Well, this is probably the poorest of all SD chapters and killed this little series instantly.......

I went like ''WHAT?!'' Fat Buu - poop - Evil Buu -> fight together -> Goku Genkidama -> BOOOOOM -> Evil Buu destroyed....
So, what?! What the hell I just saw! It's like 3 years old, who poops all over himself, retelling the story and skilled fanartist doing the drawing.

That explains everything..... I don't even wanna know. Next thing in Saikyo Jump will be an Vegeta and Goku kissing each other on a date manga.

I dunno, I just don't see the nonsense. Its a fun little what-if where events played out in a fashion where transforming wasn't necessary for any character. That's a real rarity in later Dagon Ball. As much as I love the Buu Arc and all the escalating concepts it introduced, you can't deny that all of them proved useless and accomplished basically nothing. This chapter pretty much removed all that fluff that only served to pad the story arc in the original manga. It was a good way to shorten the arc IMO.

You could even consider it a "what-if Super Saiyan didn't exist" situation. This could be how the characters handled the battle with Buu in a universe where no one has any of the transformations, meaning even Saiyan Arc Goku could beat Buu this way.
