The name of Buu's dog

I noticed while watching Dragon Box 7 last month that in the Japanese version of the show, Buu's dog is never referred to by name. There might have been one time where he was referred to by name when Mr. Satan called him over once, but I wasn't sure at the time if it was the name of the dog, so the name didn't stick in my head.

So, is the dog's name Bee like in the Funi dub, or is his original name different? If it's the latter, what is his name?

In the manga his name isn't established until the chapter 518 title page that introduces all the "10 years later" character designs, which names him and explains that he's the dog Boo saved.

Yeah, it's ベエ/Bee, which should be pronounced more like "bay". The English word "bee", as in the insect, or the letter B would be written ビー/bii in katakana. However, the entire joke behind the dog's name is that it's very similar to Boo's name, so proper pronunciation is not necessarily more important than having the spelling of his name mirror Boo's.

Assuming you know this already, but the guy is "Buu", the dog is "Bee" and the wife is "Buubii", so... no, there's no funny coincidence there.

That's the one. I think he only calls him "Wan-chan" once or twice if I remember correctly. It sounds like the Japanese equivalent to how we would say "puppy", or something along those lines.

I remember Mr. Satan calling Boo's dog as Wan-chan too.
