But if you can ignore these three details, then the English dub is fine.
While the English voice mix-up was a debacle, Travis as Cell was a casting choice. While not preferred, it's not really a mistake.

Not only that, but #18's voice is mixed up, Ginyu's voice is mixed up, and I think #19 and some other Ginyu Force members were also mixed up.

Do we have sales figures for this game from Japan yet?

Another question, who likes/dislikes the Super/Ultimate Defense system of DBZ UT for what reason?
Well, I'm hating the Super Defense System, it makes every Super/Ultimate generic as hell. It's repetitive and the dodge minigame is out of place. And it literally take no skill to land a Super, because you only have to deplete the opponent's Ki...

DB Xenoverse is not a DBZ simulator with fighting elements, it's a semi competent fighting/action game with DBZ simulation elements.

So it works on simmilar principle as Dragon Ball Legends on PS1? Where you had to owerpower the opponent and that started the automatic super attack sequence?

Not like that, more like Final Bout...

I like the Super Defense system, just wish it didn't take so long for the attack to connect and some Supers/Ultimates to play with the defense system - for example have it so that Kienzan/Final Impact/Freeza's hyper cutter thingy can't be guarded against, Instant Transmission Kamehameha can't be intercepted, etc.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I'm surprised nobody has posted this. They actually put some effort into Freeza's transformations.

It's exactly the same as in RB2, if not even a little worse.

So this is clear evidence that they simply revamped the RB2 models a little (Those black contours are looking like s**t in this video, I like the RB2 plastic models a lot more)........
Yeah! New, original, sorry only one year to develop MY ASS, SPIKE!
My god, this game looks so bad from what I've heard so far since that fated interview. I'm happy I didn't bought it.

Exactly the same models, only that they changed the colour, withdrew that shine efect and added black lines? That's it??
Even the moves are same as I saw gameplay videos.

They had that in RB2? Having not played the game I wouldn't know.

Not surprise since the game came out here before it did in Japan and I think most fans in Japan know about the mixed reviews. Mixed word of mouth is likely why the game has been selling poorly. At least Burst Limit sold well because it got good reviews unlike the recent Spike games. I have a feeling we won't see a Ultimate Blast/Tenkachi 2 now?

Yeah, I highly doubt it, also this game was more on US marketplace. If anybody remembers, what Namco Bandai stated about the character creator: That in Japan, they like the original story and characters, no one desires things like that. Add on rudiculous fighting system, bad roster. With having license so they don't have much to think about, this game is literally f**k into the eye.

I highly doubt the sales were a surprise to Namco-Bandai. They very likely figured that into their forecast and budgeting for the game. All things considered, I'm shocked the sales were as high as they were.

Unless something crazy happened like another 10,000 less copies in its first week (which didn't happen), I don't think anything would really throw plans out of whack. Still viable enough to crap out another game next year.

*sigh* I wish they made more of an effort on their games instead of constantly spewing prototypes.
