A DB FPS would be great. The Royal Army vs The Red Ribbon Army multiplayer would be sick 8)

First-person Sparking!? I hope not...
With a rifle...... playing as the farmer with cigarette going against alien invaders. That will be hardcore!
Only if the farmers voiced by Scott McNeil...

What do you mean a "new raging Blast" exactly? Wouldn't there be no point in lessening the character's if it's the same system, might aswel just add and improve to RB2. Although I think you mean a new 3D fighting series, right.

I don't see a FPS Dragon Ball game really appealing to fans unless it's some XBLA and PSN downloadable game. I hope next year's game is a Budokai type of game seeing next year is the 10th anniversary of the Budokai series. I would like another Budokai type of game since I'm getting tired of Spike's DBZ games in the past few years.

Here's what I want:
- Dragon Ball Kai: Ultimate Butoden. Status: ALREADY COMPLETE, DAMN IT NAMCO
- Dragon Ball Zenkai Battle Royal. Status: ALREADY COMPLETE, minus the porting it to the xbox360, whatever :P

or Dragon Ball: Charge!! Red Ribbon Army (see what I did there?) A first person shooter where you take over the world with the Red Ribbon Army

Seriously, though, a DRAGON BALL specific fighting game would be awesome....maaaaaybe if not made by Spike.

For real people, we gotta stop talking about a "FPS" DBZ game, we really don't wana give Spike any ideas. They'll think "Hey, if Star Wars can do it, why not Dragonball?" ... (See what I did there ^^) ...

Wait...so is Spike still gonna be making next year's Dragon Ball (obligatory Z) game?

It isn't out of the question. Spike definitely leaving have only been rumours from misinterpreted information. So yeah, I'd say expect another title from Spike next year...

If the next game is made by Spike, I'm jumping out of that boat as soon as I see their name come up. I am done. I tried to play Ultimate Tenkaichi early today...couldn't do it. Spent all afternoon with Budokai 3.

After the massive party we had about them no longer making Dragon Ball games, they should be too busy digging a hole to hide themselves in out of shame to even consider making another half-assed game.

Eh, I'd rather they dump the whole Sparking style and try something new.

Yeah, a likely reason why they may get sacked/leave I think is due to the response the fans had towards info on them leaving. I mean we were all cheering, everyone was. Everybody was happy to know they were leaving.. eventhough that wasn't confirmed. Nice trolling Treevax. Imagine how the devs feel now.

@DragonBoxZTheMovies Yeah, two attack buttons, light and heavy, with revamped movement and effects. Make character's actually different when it comes to properties, like their frame data (how Buu has the same reach as every other fighter in the game confuses me), revamp the defense system by basically ripping it off Dimps, but in 3D, and make it so different match ups actually mean something.

@Rukura again, on our page talks begun of creating our own game, via MUGEN or sorts, you seen it?

I think it's just a testament to how everyone felt, and a much needed boost. We wanted innovation. We knew we wouldn't get it with Spike. When we heard they were gone, we partied.
I hate to pull this example, but us Naruto fans love the fan service we've gotten from CyberConnect2. THAT's when you know you're doing it right - When the fans of the property love your work, not when they're eager to see out the door.

Really? That's something I'd be interested in playing right now on my down time

Have you seen the latest trailer? Its so <3tastic.

Cyber is actually doing a ova in their next game. It seems they take ideas from Spike and then do them right or in a way that appeals to fans.

It's not actually an ova. It's 65 minutes that consist of parts of the game's story (like in Ultimate Tenkaichi) and the new original backstories (Young Kakashi vs Minato, Itachi vs Kisame, ect.) It's not a full feature like the Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans. But yeah, it was freaking awesome

My point was that if the fans of the show don't look forward to their work and end up not liking them....they need to go. I think even more insulting is how they've been holding on to something as good as Ultimate Butoden and haven't bothered to bring Zenkai Battle Royal to a home release...

Its lack of business sense in my opinion, but on Shue's part. They seem to be satisfied with the lackluster sales of this gen.

They simply don't care at all. They want the $$$ and that's all. Every year. And even if sales are dropping, they still are making profit you know, and that's all the greedy old men in Japan who run Shue care about.

I wouldn't mind emailing them if someone could find it. They'd probably get pissed off though, and I can imagine them sending threats. . .

@Rukura, this is all due to the BT3 fanboys, they've brought this on. They've pressured the devs from day one ever since that point, as it's come as an "expectation" to receive minimum 100 character's. Despite how difficult it is with the new graphics, system, development time. People seem to think that seeing as we're on next gen now even more character's should be added. Unfortunately, that's not the case at all. Still I've said that enough.

If they want their game to sell, they're gonna have to make something different, but this time doing it right. UT was not right. As if Sparking/RB is the only way to make a 3D fighter...

Actualy, they want ¥¥¥ not $$$. :P
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.
