It's 65 minutes that consist of parts of the game's story (like in Ultimate Tenkaichi) and the new original backstories (Young Kakashi vs Minato, Itachi vs Kisame, ect.) It's not a full feature like the Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans.[/size]But yeah, it was freaking awesome

My point was that if the fans of the show don't look forward to their work and end up not liking them....they need to go. I think even more insulting is how they've been holding on to something as good as Ultimate Butoden and haven't bothered to bring Zenkai Battle Royal to a home release...
Its lack of business sense in my opinion, but on Shue's part. They seem to be satisfied with the lackluster sales of this gen.
They simply don't care at all. They want the $$$ and that's all. Every year. And even if sales are dropping, they still are making profit you know, and that's all the greedy old men in Japan who run Shue care about.

I wouldn't mind emailing them if someone could find it. They'd probably get pissed off though, and I can imagine them sending threats. . .

@Rukura, this is all due to the BT3 fanboys, they've brought this on. They've pressured the devs from day one ever since that point, as it's come as an "expectation" to receive minimum 100 character's. Despite how difficult it is with the new graphics, system, development time. People seem to think that seeing as we're on next gen now even more character's should be added. Unfortunately, that's not the case at all. Still I've said that enough.

If they want their game to sell, they're gonna have to make something different, but this time doing it right. UT was not right. As if Sparking/RB is the only way to make a 3D fighter...
UT was a combination of incomplete ideas rolled into one. This game had potential but that is how the cookie crumbles. And that is how Spike games are incomplete and unfulfilled.

At the end of the day, its Shue caving in not Namco or Spike. If anything Shue has been getting a free pass in terms of criticism these past few games.

I think the only way Shue will learn is if the next game really bombs in sales but that may backfire and have them rid Namco of the license altogether.

I'm just gonna go ahead and say that we need Budokai Tenkaichi 3 3DS.

Anyone with me?

I'm telling you though, Shueshia don't care, at all lol. They couldn't care if this or that game bombs or not, because at the end of the year they're getting their $$$, £££, euro's, yen whatever. You think they actually play or take a big look at the games once they're out? They look at the sales, and profit.

Eventhough you have a point that Spike or Namco have been getting it enough from fans, thing is they have a year and they have got to simply make do with it and make the right, sustainable descisions. I think Namdai are at fault, due to the fact they set Spike minimum targets of what they want to see, like, I know for certain from Mr Shoupinou, number of stages. I believe 14 this year was the minimum for this. And if they have targets for stages, they've probably also given targets for number of character's, and that's not good.

It isn't impossible to make a quality game within a year, some things just might have to be sacrificed.

I'm not, because I don't have and I'm not planing to get a 3DS. :P
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

It just boggles my mind when they have a great game for the DS (Ultimate Butoden) that they don't release. THE GAME IS THERE, just needs to be translated and released. Why are they just holding on to it?!

Here's what I want, just gonna throw these out there:
Dragon Ball: Advanced Adventure 2
Super Dragon Ball Z 2
Full checklist of all Xenoverse clothing pieces, accessories and Z-Souls (Many thanks to jrdemr for the Z-Souls sheet): https://www.dropbox.com/s/u8vxc8m0fehev ... .xlsx?dl=0

Yeah, I'd have to say an updated Super DBZ would be really neat. The game's a brilliant fighter, and at the same time it's really great DBZ. I don't think I'd buy the game how it currently is, too dated for me, however if they cleaned it up, and modernized it, it would be pretty sweet.

I've actually been playing them recently again, it's probably why I thought of them right away. They hold up surprisingly well and both really really deserve a sequel.

You almost make it sound like the 3DS was a smash-hit by itself. You do know that the PSP was outselling it until not that long ago, right?

Besides, there are still a lot of games coming out for the DS as well as some that ain't even out yet and quite a number of people still look forward to. Like Gigant Battle 2.
They're not seeing a profit for it, yes. But they haven't released it either. It's just there, waiting to be translated and ported.

I don't see anything weird in this matter at all. Almost 50% of all the games for PSP on the planet stays whey there are, in Japan, without translation. I would love for example, to play Gundam vs Gundam in english, but for PSP and DS, you can import the games at least.

Edit: and you consider yourself lucky with US PSN, the European sucks ass, as there is about 15% of the US content.

I always laugh at the fact they they titled the Platinum trophy "Over 9000!!!!"
On a side note does anyone know where I could get this cheap, it stills seems pretty high. I've wanted it since day one but based on what I heard/read it wasn't worth the price. Sorry if this is off-topic I couldn't find another thread more suitable, and I didn't really want to create one.

I'm with ya. As soon as this hits bargain bin price I'm snagging it up. I love Sagas, Revenge of King Piccolo, Budokai 1&2, Tenkaichi 1, RB1 and Mystery of Shenlong so if history is anything to go by I'll adore this awful game.
