How strong is King Yemma?

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

He still feared Vegeta though, who had the place shaking as far as I can remember when he gave him his body back and when asked to go fight Buu on Earth.

Enma could still technically just take away Vegeta's body whenever he wanted to, though. If he can take away guys like Freeza and Cell's bodies and send them to Hell, then he practically is invincible.

We never actually see how a person's body is taken away anyway.

I was under the impression that it isn't taken away, but only their soul goes to the afterlife where they can have their body given back to them. Like how Goku's body faded after his death.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

If we go by the definition of what Chi or Ki is in martial arts terms, because all the Z-fighters have mentioned it in some form or another, then a unison of body and mind are needed to have Chi/Ki. If Raditz arrives as a soul he'll be nothing to Enma because he has no body/form to hold his Chi/Ki.

Yeah, same here. "Taken away" was just a simpler way of putting it. But Enma apparently retained or gave Vegeta his body back once he knew about Boo and his rapid kill count from Goku. This was in case he was needed in the fight against Boo, unlike before, when God took their bodies to the afterlife or otherwise restored them if they'd been destroyed (like Chaozu).

Or at least, a unison of body and mind are needed to have control of ki, since everyone has ki, but they just need to learn how to use and/or control it. So, presumably, Raditz's soul would only have his mind.
