Really sad how this game pretty much died with the gameplay. It had graphics, story... (it's) just (that) the gameplay is all rock paper scissors, (there are) no female Saiyans, humans or whatever else aliens. Also the training mode in hero mode where you fight masters is very tedious and you (would) think they could have actually have you interact with the masters like Goku and Vegeta. The only other positive thing this game has is (its) soundtrack. I really enjoyed the music.

I think that they should continue with this game. I mean they have another year for the 2012 game, and in that time they can:

1. Get better gameplay
2. Make the hero mode better (Better costumization and more races)
3. A little better story mode (Make the map more useful)
4. More characters.

If they do that I hope that they can come up with an awesome game this time. :P

I bought the game for the full $60. I started it up and on the HDTV the game is stunning, beautiful.
Then I started story, amazing, then I actually played it. Took it back the next day for cash back.
I can't believe they thought that was a game. I personally think the DBZ video games needs a new company making the games, or just drop them all together.

Normally I never return games unless they're scratched or not my taste, but Dragon Ball-related tends to stay, though I never pay the full retail price, instead low-med price (used/new).

Anywho, for those people that play online, how do you find it versus a human opponent, fun, boring, decent or repetitive?

Really? I usually buy all my games at Gamestop, which requires the game to still be in it's shrink wrap for you to return it. What store did you buy it from, monkeydlogan?

I buy my games online from Amazon UK (I'm not from US).

Though, when there's great deals of brand new sealed games at low prices I snatch them (one or another), Amazon UK or TheHut/Zavvi (bought MW2 for £9 from TheHut, missed out on Enslaved around the same price).

I've got a Dragon Ball Z 1 (aka Budokai 1 - the PAL version doesn't say Budokai 1 in-game only the cover does) copy for PS2 but the game menus aren't working (opening video is perfectly fine + opening menu "press start"), weird, I'm going to return it.

I bought it from Gamestop, but I didn't recieve the full refund.
Got $40 for it, so it was enough for UMvC3

From what I've heard, UMvC3 is a way better game anyway.

You could get $40 like monkeydlogan, and then you can buy a really good fighting game! I recommend Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, or Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3.

Either way, congrats on the full completion!

I don't think I'm ever going to 100% it.

I never do.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Me neither, but UT doesn't seem as hard to 100% as other games.

In my opinion, Super Street Fighter 4 is the hardest game to 100% on.
