I see. Well, in that case, how much is visible when it happens? I mean, could it be fixed if, like on FUNi's Z boxes, the picture were to be shifted down a couple pixels?

Since the single DVD isn't near-at-hand, I can't take proper screen caps, but here are some low-res shots I took before:

It seems that it was actually episode 52.

I see. It does look a bit big. I think if the frame shift that I mentioned in my previous post were to happen in DB, that little bit of the top on the bottom would probably be at least cut in half, and maybe even completely lost if viewed in overscan.

Shit, had a look for myself and it really does show a bit of the top on the bottom:

It looks like the way they telecined the frame, they got part of the next frame in there in each shot? It seems it's a byproduct of them trying to show as much picture as possible it seems; In a lot of episodes on the Dragon Box, you can see the rounded corners of the film-frame from where they scanned it into the computer. Usually the bottom right.

For the Blu-Rays, Funimation used a content aware sort of fill or what have you to fix this issue.
My favorite movie henchman is Sancho.

Follow my stupid crap on Twitter. Please note, I do not have time to reply to any PMs about color correction methods anymore; sorry about that.
