Herms' Guide Guide (Collection of Information Awesomeness)

Discussion, generally of an in-universe nature, regarding any aspect of the franchise (including movies, spin-offs, etc.) such as: techniques, character relationships, internal back-history, its universe, and more.

I prefer to look at it like alternate universes. The anime is created in a universe where there are more Goku d-riders and poor, inconsistent writers while the manga is in a different, better universe

I didn't really understand that sentence, but I'll say that Trunks' special contradicts the manga. Vegeta's hairstyle in Bardock special also contradicts Vegeta's hairstyle in the manga, which is of course not a mistake but an intended feature Toei came up with, however, IHMO Vegeta couldn't have had such hairstyle in the original DB; it doesn't make sense for one to not have widow's peak at yought, yet have it later; making specials not any better than the regular movies.

You see, that right there is purely subjective. "Goku d-riders and poor, inconsistent writers while the manga is in a different, better universe", what does that have to do with anything? The anime is virtually the same exact story as the Manga that delivers the same overall message. If Toriyama did not like something in the anime, he would tell Toei. Many authors are greedy like this (take Ruroni Kenshin's Manga writer for example), and Toriyama seems to be fine with every extension in the Anime that took place that was never present in the manga version of the story.

I believe that is only because Toriyama is laid-back, he's not that bothered about what they do or don't with his original work. Alan Moore for example is at the exact opposite end of that spectrum. Nobuhiro Watsuki is somewhere there too but he moaned less and was more creative. I don't see Toriyama caring that much, for example, he never flat-out said he disliked Dragon Ball GT, but address it as an possible future, with another possibility being Dragon Ball Online.

At the end, as it's been stated many times in the last months, there is no true canon per-se, what you have is several continuities that intertwine with each other. Meaning, as soon as they start to contradict, that must mean they are in a separate continuity, that is the case of Dragon Ball Online vs Dragon Ball GT; Dragon Ball Manga vs Dragon Ball Anime; Dragon Ball Anime vs Dragon Ball Movies or even Dragon Ball Online vs Dragon Ball Heroes, amongst others.

Oh yeah, I think I locked a couple of your guide threads because I wanted to discourage pointless "wow cool!!" thread bumps. I don't remember which threads they were, but if you need them unlocked so you can edit them, just let me know. (Or another mod could do it, but I wanted to put the offer out since it was my fault.)

'Subjective'?! Pahaha xD

I take it you missed GT and Pure Boo/SSjin3 Goku being on a whole other level than Gohan-Boo?

It really is a fact.

I've finally gone and updated the Guide Guide to be ordered according to subject matter, rather than the current kinda-sorta chronological order. A while back I asked people on Twitter which order they preferred, and the response was that most people favored chronological order. However, I'm making the executive decision of rearranging them anyway, because I think it'll be a lot more helpful that way. If nothing else, I don't like having all my earliest guides right at top. I tend to think that I've gotten better at this, and that my best guides are mostly my more recent ones. Of course, I guess I could just list them in reverse chronological order, but I like the categories thing better (I'll also list my favorite guides right up at the top). Still, since some people like the chronological order, I'll be preserving it here:

Tales from the Daizenshuu
The first guide-type thing I ever did! I go through each daizenshuu and list interesting information from them. I’ve said before that vast majority of information in the daizenshuu is just stuff taken from the series, but this is a guide to some of that unique stuff. Towards the end I also have a complete listing of every section in each daizenshuu, a sort of master table of contents.

Special Attack Index
Translated from Daizenshuu 7, it’s a list of each technique from the series (with some omissions), listed by each character who uses them (again with some omissions). So basically it’s a guide to what techniques each character uses. Now part of the Translations section over at Kanzentai, along with the main body of the Special Attack Dictionary.

Background Information on Coola and Tullece’s Henchmen
Background information for these characters which wasn’t given in the movie. The stuff for Coola’s henchmen (with the exception of their battle powers) is all completely verified as official by the DBZ: Son Goku Densetsu guide, and the Tullece and co. information is found in the Akira Toriyama-The World anime special book.

Full List of Name Puns?
A thread made by Acid_Reign where I gave lots of information on character name puns, including a translation of Toriyama’s name pun guide from DragonBall Forever. I suppose this one's largely obsolete now that I've got the Name Pun Round-Up (see below).

Color Chapter Guide
Lists all the color chapters from the manga, what volumes they are included in for the various releases of the manga, and what goes on in them.

Personal Pronoun Guide
A guide to which form of “I” the characters use in Japanese, which is a subtle characterization tool that gets lost in translation.

Obscure Races
A guide to minor races, may of whose names weren’t even given in the series itself, but only as background information in guidebooks.

Japanese Wikipedia page for “Buu’s Fury” is crazy
This one’s kind of silly, but it’s a description of the pages that Japanese Wikipedia has for the various Legacy of Goku games, which are all totally wrong and completely bizarre (Goku fuses with Videl!). Thanks to Olivier Hague these "facts" now seem to be entirely removed, but they're so hilariously weird that they're still interesting to read about. Reminds you that English-speaking DB fans aren't the only ones to spread absurd misinformation.

Random Landmark/Forever Stuff
As the title says, this is random things I extracted from the guidebooks DragonBall Landmark and DragonBall Forever.

Demon Guide
A guide to the various types of demons throughout the series, what they are, how they differ, what their Japanese names are, and how they’re translated. Now a page on Kanzentai!.

Origin of Babidi’s Chant
Interesting tidbit I found.

Akira Toriyama Exhibition Essays
Taken from the Akira Toriyama Exhibition book, these are several essays by various people on Toriyama’s work.

GT Chronology
Starts with me listing all the known facts of when GT is set, how long each event takes, and the space between events. Then I use this and some creative liberties to create an fan-made timeline of GT.

GT Techniques
Part 2 of my planned complete guide to GT, it’s a list of all the techniques used in the series, divided by each character that uses them, as well as explanations for some of the techniques. Right now it’s incomplete, since I want to go back eventually and make a complete technique dictionary explaining them all.

Item Index
Taken from Daizenshuu 7. It’s a list of all the items used in the manga, filler, and movies, divided up by who uses them.

Daizenshuu 7-Special Attack Dictionary
Translation of the technique dictionary from Daizenshuu 7. It's kind of long. Now part of the Translations section over at Kanzentai, along with the Special Attack Index.

Super Exciting Guide: Story Volume
A thread started by omae no kaasan on the contents of this recent guide. On page 5 I posted a summary of the book’s RPG-like training guide, which details how Goku’s various training methods throughout the series increased his different stats, and at the end gives figures for how much stronger each form of Super Saiyan is than the one before. The book says that this information is based on data that was supervised by Toriyama, though just what this means is unclear.

Super Exciting Guide: Character Volume
A thread I made pointing out new and interesting information from this recent guide. This volume contained much more interesting tidbits than the previous one, including Mister Satan’s real name, the process by which Kaio and Kaioshin are born and assigned to their posts, and more information on Dabra’s Demon Realm, all straight from Toriyama himself. In addition, there’s a list of heights, weights, birth years, hobbies, favorite foods, and favorite vehicles for the main characters.

Age Guide
A list of how old characters are at different points in the series, using all the official birth years that have been given in guidebooks, as well as guesses and estimations for some other characters who have vague things said about how old they are. A little later in the thread I also list all these birth years by chronological order. When calculating ages, I take the approach of raising ever character’s age by 1 for each new year. This means the listed ages for some years may be a year higher than ages given for a character at that point in the series; this is presumably because the character’s birthdays were later in the year. For instance Gohan is said to be 16 at the start of the Buu arc (in 774), but since he was born in 757, he should turn 17 at some point during that year.

Timeline Evaluation
An evaluation of the timeline from Daizenshuu 7, where I attempt to explain where each date comes from. I sort out things that are taken from the anime, things that work with the manga but not the anime, mistakes, and entries that have been commonly mistranslated.

A Stronger Loving Time-Line
A suped-up version of the Daizenshuu 7 timeline, with fixed mistakes, and more dates added from other parts of Daizenshuu 7, the anime, DB Online, and the GT timeline I made.

Various Jump Pictures
Pictures taken from some of the old Jump issues I own. Includes a picture of Toriyama in an American football uniform, the Piccolo-Kuririn fusion, screenshots of the Toriyama anime Kosuke-sama, and more.

Toriyama One-Shot: Tokimecha
A brief summary of one of Toriyama’s post-DB short works, with pictures.

Bouken Special Character Profiles
A translation of the “Men’s Personal History” character profiles from the DB Bouken Special, published in 1987.

Fan and Dub Races
A list of names for races/species that come from the Funi dub or where invented by fans.

Battle Records
A list of all the battles the main characters fight in the manga, and what percentage they win or lose.

Kanzentai Battle Power Guide
OK, so this is basically just me plugging a section on Kanzentai. Two earlier threads of mine contained information latter incorporated into the BP guide: Weekly Jump Battle Powers and whatnot and V-Jump Battle Powers

Daizenshuu 7 Geographical Dictionary
A translation of Daizenshuu 7’s guide to the various places in the DB world, both on Earth, in outer space, and the afterlife.

Son Goku’s Clothes
A post I made detailing the various outfits Goku wears throughout the manga storyline (so excluding the random outfits he’s shown wearing on title pages). Pictures kindly provided by Hujio.

The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the DB Galaxy
A thread explaining in depth things like the layout of the DB cosmos and the god hierarchy. I was supposed to cover the DB Earth too, but I never got around to it…

On the 4 Galaxies
Basically an offshoot of the above guide, in this I look into the question of just how many galaxies there are in the DB universe (short answer: 4).

Name Pun Round-Up
An attempt to gather together all officially confirmed, or at least considerably likely, character name puns.

Daizenshuu 7: Item Dictionary
A translation of the item dictionary from Daizenshuu 7, which covers everything from handheld tools to vehicles.

Toriyama’s Contributions to the Anime
A guide to all the officially confirmed contributions Toriyama made to the DB anime, from selecting voice actors/actresses, to submitting brief ideas for filler, to designing movie characters. Now a page on Kanzentai!

The Longest Days
A look at which days in DB's storyline last the longest in terms of manga chapters, followed that is a breakdown of the entire DB story by day (using the Daizenshuu 7 timeline dates, more or less) with notes on how many chapters each day lasts. Now we finally have scientific proof of which day (and minutes) dragged on the longest!

The Many Names of Majin Boo
Boo may have an absurd number of different forms, but he also has an even more absurd number of different names for each of those forms. This tracks all (or a lot, anyway) of those various names, from things said in the manga, to those given in guidebooks or video games, all the way to the multitude of fan-made names.

The Human Condition
Fans are always debating over who's the strongest human character. Well, they can stop, because the answer is Vegetto! The thing is, in DB "human" refers to Saiyans and other humanoid aliens just as much as it does to those odd being who happened to be born on the strange alien world which passes for Earth in the DB universe...it's just that this tends to get left out or glossed over in translations. This guide documents the ways in which "human" is used throughout the series, to try and determine exactly what (and who) does and doesn't count as human in DB terms.

GT Perfect Files on Stuff (now with Saiya/Tsufru history!)
A translation of several sections from volume 1 of the GT Perfect Files, including the pages on the different kinds of Super Saiyans, Baby's different forms, and Saiyan/Tsufruian history.

Toriyama's Intended Ending(s): A Guided Tour
Everyone knows that Toriyama originally planned to end the series after Freeza, right? Well everyone is dead wrong! Well, mostly wrong, anyway...it's kinda a long story. Bring popcorn and a drink to this one; you can get refills during the intermission.
I'm pleased to announce that this post is now a section on Kanzentai as well as two podcast episodes (part one and part two).

Viz Translation Review (up to volume 5)
An incomplete guide. The idea was that I would go through the entire Viz manga, comparing it directly to the original Japanese, and make notes on absolutely every change I noticed. I got as far as DB volume 5 before calling it quits. I actually did go through the entire manga, making shorthand notes on all the changes I saw. But the task of converting these notes into coherent posts that could be understood by other people proved too tedious. However, these shorthand notes are what I use when writing about the "Vizisms" of the later Z volumes for the Manga Review of Awesomeness, so I guess they weren't a complete waste.

Strength Checker
Who's stronger, X or Y? I...actually don't know, but hopefully this thing will help. It's a collection of just about every single strength-related quote from the entire manga, as collected by me and a multitude of helper elves. It's set up so that you can use your internet browser's search engine to quickly locate the quotes concerning specific characters at particular points in the series, and even their specific forms where applicable. So if you want to find everything said about Super Saiyan 3 Goku in the Boo arc, or Kame-sennin at the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai, you'll be able to zip straight to them (hopefully).

Saiyan History 101
An attempt to compile the often contradictory history of the Saiyan race, as explained in Toriyama's anime staff memos, filler, GT, the OVA, the guidebooks, etc.

Journey to the Rest: a look at those other JttW references
A Kanzenshuu combo special where Mike and I look at some lesser known Journey to the West references in DB filler: Annin and her furnace, plus Ginkaku and Kinkaku. The original story behind the award-winning podcast episode! Or not.

Bardock dub analysis
An attempt to thoroughly compare the original Japanese version of the Bardock special to its Funimation dub, which is notorious for its wild inaccuracy. Unfortunately (?) I gave up midway through, leading to…

Bardock dub/sub scripts
My attempt at salvaging my Bardock sub/dub comparison. It’s a complete transcript of both the sub and dub scripts. First the two scripts are broken up and compared on a scene-by-scene basis, then they are re-printed on their own in their entirety. Do your own analysis of their differences and similarities.

The Awkward Age
A follow-up to the timeline evaluation thread that goes over the tricky business of working out the specific years in which the series’ events take place. It involves a lot of mucking about with the gaps between Trunks’ various trips to the past and how long Cell may or may not have spent in development. I also go over Trunks’ age a good deal. If you can read through all this without getting a headache then you’re a better man than I am, Gunga Dinn.

Kurilien, the Alien Kuririn!
A look at one of the weirdest and most obscure characters within the whole of the DB franchise: Kurilien, the alien assassin who for no apparent reason is based off Kuririn. Learn all about this four-armed badass (?) before he (?!) makes a glorious return in Ultimate Raging Sparking Blast Meteor Tenkaichi 7.

Return of the Many Names
As a sequel to “The Many Names of Majin Boo”, I started out chronicling other transformations and whatnot with confusing and conflicted naming schemes. Learn all about the bewildering variety of names for Super Saiyan Grade II, Grade III, and…uh, that’s it. I never got to anything else. Maybe someday I’ll though…

Legend of the Legendary Super Saiyan of Legend
Who is the legendary Super Saiyan? Could it be Goku, or Broli, or…Bardock?! For that matter, just what the heck is the “legend” of the Super Saiyan anyway? I try and sort through this and some other related matters once and for, or at least until the latest tie-in muddles things further. See how many times I can type the words “legend” and “legendary” before I finally go completely and irrevocably insane!

Guide Guide
A guide to all the guides I’ve made. If you click on this link, the universe will explode.

(Double post. Well, whatever.)

I've started to finally clean up the Strength Checker a bit. I'll be fixing typos, tweaking the translations, unifying name inconsistencies, adding in suggested quotes, etc. So far I've gone through the introduction post and the DB search/training/21st TB post. So if you've got a suggestion for anything that needs to be added/changed, now's the time.

Awhile back there was a thread on whether Karin really says Goku is almost stronger than him or already stronger than him. Well, I went back and checked, and I did indeed screw up: Karin says Goku has already surpassed him. I had carelessly misread mou sude ni ("already") for mou sugu ni ("sometime soon"). Really sorry about that. I'll have that fixed soon.

I'll also be going through and revising some of my other old guides.

Revamped the Red Ribbon/Uranai Baba section of the Strength Checker, and edited the Landmark/Forever thread so that all the information from the books I posted throughout the thread are now right there in the first post. Also tweaked the translations a little here and there.

Awhile back I heard of a quote in the viz translation about Vegeta thinking about how it'd be easy to kill Zarbon, because Zarbon would be confident from their last battle and therefore be off-guard.
Do you think it's relevant to the strength checker or is it not in the original at all?

Apparently not content to let well enough alone, I’ve gone and added a bunch of more character/technique/form/whatever codes to (hypothetically) allow quick and easy access to certain characters. Some of these have been there all along but I just didn’t note them at the start of the thread.

Akkuman [AKK]
Androids (in general) [AND]
Arale and friends [ARA]
Babidi [BBD]
Blue, General [BLU]
Buyon [BUY]
Cymbal [CYM]
Drum [DRU]
Enma Daio [ENM]
Farmer with Shotgun [FAR]
Giran [GIR]
Gyuumao [GYU]
Jewel [JEW]
Kaio [AIO]
Katatz’s child [KAT]
Kikoho [KIK]
Killer [KLR]
Lunch [LUN]
Man-Wolf [WOL]
Metallic, Sergeant [MET]
Mighty Mask (the real one) [MMK]
Mummy-kun [MUM]
Murasaki, Sergeant Master [MUR]
Mutaito [MUT]
Namekians, in general [NMK]
Oolong [OOL]
Panput [PUT]
Pilaf Machine [PIL]
Potara [POT]
Punter [PUN]
Room of Spirit and Time [RST]
Spopovitch [SPO]
Suke-san (the invisible man) [INV]
Super God Water [SGW]
Tambourine [TAM]
Training Principles [TPR]
Z Sword [ZSW]

Cyborg Tao Pai Pai and Mecha Freeza are now designated with [MEC]; so [-TAO-MEC] and [-FRE-MEC].

Also, the versions of characters in future Trunks’ timeline are now designated with [FUT]; so [-A17-FUT] [-A18-FUT] [-GOH-FUT] [-CEL-FUT]. Future Trunks himself though isn’t designated like this; his forms are already complicated enough.

Young Trunks in the manga side-story is [-TRU-YOU], and the young Namekians warriors are [-NMK-YOU]. Just because.

Away, now to move on to updated other guides.

Wasting little time, I’ve updated with the DB Online Timeline redux. I’m also still trying to touch up my old guides. For instance, many of my guides contain several different posts scattered throughout the thread, so I’m trying to go back and edit some of these into one big post at the start. Often though, there’s too much to fit into a single post, so in that case I’ll split them into two and include a link to the second post at the end of the first. Besides the Random Landmark/Forever stuff, I’ve also updated Hitchhiker’s Guide to the DB Galaxy, GT Perfect Files on Stuff and Whatnot, and Legend of the Legendary Super Saiyan of Legend.

Herms wrote:If I missed anything, let me know.
I took the time to go through the entire thing to see, if there still were typos or something that could be changed:
Chapter: Chapter 62, P9.1-2
Context: after Murasaki produces his "clones".
Murasaki: “Heh heh heh heh, you were already in trouble against just one of me... And now my strength has been multiplied by five!! There's nothing left for you but death, kiddo!!”
GOKU: “Liar, I wasn’t having any trouble! So, you guys are all real? I figured something weird was going on!”
Here you've capitalized Goku's name, which you usually don't, so it seems like a mistake.
Chapter: 85, P12.7
Context: before Tao Pai Pai takes off for the Karin Holy Land
Tao Pai Pai: “It’s 2,300 kilometers northeast, huh?...Well then, I’ll be back in about 30 minutes.”
Note: So in other words, Tao Pai Pai says he can throw a pillar 2,300 kilometers, jumps on it and ride it all the way there, beats Goku, then come all the way back in about 30 minutes.
In the note "jump" and "beat" shouldn't end with "s" here as they tie in with "he can."
Chapter: 129, P6.4, P7.1-4, P8.1
Goku: “Knowing you, you won’t die even if I put out my full power, so it looks like I can go all out!”
Tenshinhan: “Don’t make me laugh. You’ve already been going all.”
Isn't "out" missing at the end of Tenshinhan's last line?
Chapter: 1, P14.5
Context: Tenshinhan watches Goku and Piccolo fight
Tenshinhan: “Th-they’re too incredible…I can’t butt in at all…”
Here you've listed Tenshinhan's thoughts on Piccolo and Goku as appearing in chapter 1, though they actually appear in ch. 157. This mistake is also present in Goku's entry.
Chapter: 153, P11.3
Piccolo: “Oh, so you can use Bukujutsu, huh? You seem a little confidence in your ability. But your half-assed dabbling in the martial arts will cost you your life.”
It should be "confident" rather than "confidence."
The next quote is taken from God's 23rd TB entry:
Chapter: 181, P1.5-6
Context: as Shen and Piccolo fight
Tenshinhan: “There’s no helping it…They far surpass any level ordinarily conceivable.”
Then the same quote in Ma Junior's entry:
Chapter: 181, P1.5-6
Context: as Shen and Piccolo fight
Tenshinhan: “There’s no helping it…They far surpass any level conceivable by common sense.”
So you worded it differently here.
Chapter: 169, P14.1, 14.5
Context: Tenshinhan outclasses Tao Pai Pai
Tao Pai Pai: “Fu…fuhahahaha…!! I see…Just as I’d expect, it seems you’ve gotten a little stronger since then…”
Tenshinhan: “I’ve become far stronger than you imagine…”
I think "can" should be placed between "you" and "imagine" in Tenshinhan's line.
Chapter: 198 (DBZ 4), P3.3
Raditz: “It’s pointless to even think of opposing me! With your incomplete battle power, you couldn’t possible be a match for me, your older brother.”
I'm pretty sure it should be "possibly" instead of "possible."
3. Kaio-Ken [#SA2#KEN]
Chapter: 227 (DBZ 33), P1.3, P2.1
Goku: “Yeah. It’s called Kaio-Ken! [ ] You control all the ki in your body…momentarily amplifying it. If you get it right, then your power, speed, destructive force, and defensive force all become many time greater…”
"time" is missing an "s." This quote can also be found under Goku's Kaio-ken x2 entry.
Chapter: 223 (DBZ 29), P8.1-3, P10.4
Context: Vegeta was astonished at how high the Earthling’s power could rise at once. This time it was through Gohan’s Masenko attack.
It seems you mean Earthlings in plural so the apostrophe should come after the "s" rather than before it. And shouldn't it be changed to powers then?
Chapter: 250 (DBZ 56), P9.7
Context: talking to Goku in the hospital
Kame-sennin: “What’s more…At least one of those people [on Namek] had ki great than Vegeta…”
It should be "greater."
Chapter: 273 (DBZ 79), P10.5
Vegeta: “This little snot Gurd you’re going to fight has low battle power, but uses psychic powers. Don’t let down your guard!”
This may not be an actual mistake.. I just thought "Don't let down your guard" sounded wrong compared to "Don't let your guard down."
Chapter: 265 (DBZ 71), P2.5-7
Context: Kuririn explained to the Great Elder how the child of Katatz came to be on Earth.
Saichourou: “You speak as though the child died… Was it old age…? Or was he killed…?”
Kuririn: “Killed. By a Saiyan called Vegeta…who’s here right now…”
Saichourou: “By a Saiyan…? It is true that Saiyans are terrible, but…but to have killed that prodigy of the Dragon Clan… …Is it possible that he was…a Super Saiyan…?”
Here you used Saichourou instead of Great Elder.
Chapter: 280 (DBZ 86), P9.1-4
Context: after Goku outclasses Recoom for a bit
Vegeta: “Th…this time we’ll know Goku’s true worth…”
Does Vegeta really say Goku here?
Chapter: 271 (DBZ 77), P7.4
Context: the Great Elder has his hand on Gohan’s head, sensing his hidden power.
Saichourou: “This is incredible… You have tremendous latent power… You are not an Earthling, are you…?”
And here you used Saichourou again.
Chapter: 274 (DBZ 80), P8.4
Jheese: “This is unexpected. Those little squirts' battle power surpassed 10,000."
Chapter: 274 (DBZ 80), P9.1
Butta: “[...] races that can alter their battle power without transforming are rare.”
Shouldn't it be "battle powers?
Chapter: 278 (DBZ 84), P14.1
Context: after he beats Vegeta, Kuririn, and Gohan
Recoom: Cheh…All of them are just worthless scum…I don’t know why Freeza went through the trouble of calling us Ginyu Special-Force here...”
Here you use Ginyu Special-Force, though previously you used Ginyu Special-Squad.
Also in Kuririn and Vegeta's entries you left out the "Cheh..."
Chapter: 284 (DBZ 90), P10.3
Ginyu: “He’s fast! Is his speed’s greater than mine?!”
Shouldn't it just be "Is his speed greater than mine?!"?
Chapter: 257 (DBZ 63), P12.2-3
Context: talking about the destruction of Planet Vegeta
Dodoria: “But Vegeta! You should shank Lord Freeza!"
Should be "thank" instead of "shank." This mistake wasn't present in the same quote in the Saiyans(in general) entry.
Chapter: 265 (DBZ 71), P13.3
Context: after waking up early and killing Appule (ha!)
Vegeta: “Looks like you underestimated by powers of recovery!”
Should be "my."
Chapter: 336 (DBZ 142), P6.1-2
Context: after Piccolo says that only those with confidence in their abilities should come battle the androids
Vegeta: “Don’t make me laugh. Aren’t you’re the one with the least confidence?
You forgot to put quotation marks at the end of this line.
Chapter: 331 (DBZ 137), P13.3
Gohan: “It’s fa-father!!! It’s the same ki as father back then!!”
Note: Gohan says it’s the ‘same ki’ (onaji ki), rather than the ‘same amount of ki’ (onaji gurai no ki.
In the note the last parenthesis isn't closed.
Chapter: 368 (DBZ 174), P14.3
Context: after fighting merged Piccolo for a long time
No.17: “Heh. Even if our power in on par, it looks like a gap is starting to open up between our stamina…My energy is infinite, and never falls…”
Should be "is" instead of "in."
This line is of course also present in Merged Piccolo's android arc entry.
Chapter 343 (DBZ 149), P8.2-4
Vegeta: “Even so, your looked pretty surprised when Kakarot became a Super Saiyan…”
Should be "you" instead of "your."
Chapter: 398 (DBZ 204), P2.7
Context: after fighting Cell awhile
Goku: “Seems he’s stronger than I imagined…If I let me guard down just a little bit, I’ll be done in instantly...”
Should be "my" instead of "me."
Chapter: 423 (DBZ 229), P7.1, P8.2, P9.1
Context: after Bulma gives him the Great Saiyaman suit
Gohan: “Heheh! I’ve already reach Satan City in the blink of an eye!”
Should be "reached" instead of "reach."
Chapter: 449 (DBZ 255), P5.2
Kaioshin: “Babidi gathers only strong warriors from everywhere and makes then his allies!”
"Them" instead of "then."
Chapter: 452 (DBZ 258), P12.2
Context: talking about the two disguised as Mighty Mask
No.18: “…That weird long-torso freak isn’t anyone ordinary…His small arms had surprising powerful punches.”
"Surprisingly" instead of "surprising."

That's what I could find.

Nah, he clearly says Kakarotto (カカロット) :)

I would like if the Strength Checker had a separate section for hypothetical fusions, with parts like this:
Strength Checker wrote:Chapter: 506 (DBZ 312), P13.1
Context: still talking about how they’re no match for Boo
Goku: “…But there is one way we can win!”
Vegeta: “You want to say Fusion, right? Well who cares about that?!”
Goku: “Huh? You know about it?”
Vegeta: “I saw it from the afterlife…You’ve got to be joking! You think I’d perform those ugly poses…?! Anyway, I thought I told you that I’m not going to merge with you a second time.”

I’ve gone through and revised more of my old guides. Most significantly, I’ve updated Battle Records to include anime-only fights, though it still doesn’t include GT or any of the more recent specials. I’ve also overhauled Background information on Tullece and Coola’s henchmen, now that I’ve managed to track down official sources for that stuff. Then I’ve revised On the 4 Galaxies a bit, mostly speculating on the origins of Planet Namek.com’s inaccurate cosmology.

I’ve also gone through the Strength Checker and fixed the typos Fox666 listed, and edited some more threads have all the content in the first post or in two linked posts.
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?
Sometimes, I tweet things
We might, if they screamed all the time, for no good reason.
