Re: Can i find this Poster
Judging from that picture in the bottom left, that's definitely a fold-out poster from one of the Daizenshuu. Dunno which, though

Re: Can i find this Poster
There is a wallscroll/poster of this picture as well, and those are very hard/expensive for a wallscroll to get. The picture is in Daizenshuu tv and animation part 3

It's the supplemental daizenshuu TV Animation Part 3.Rukura wrote:Judging from that picture in the bottom left, that's definitely a fold-out poster from one of the Daizenshuu. Dunno which, though
Kanzenshuu: Is that place still around?

James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.
Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

It has everyone from DB Episodes 1-153, DB Movies 1-3, DBZ Episodes 1-291, DBZ TV Specials 1-2 & DBZ Movies 1-13! I always wanted to see this poster, and here it is! Yay!
Re: Looking For This Poster
O. My. God. I want this so bad. Greatest Dragon Ball poster I have ever seen. You know it's gotta be hanging in some guy's room in Japan as we speak.

Re: Looking For This Poster
I seen this poster on yahoo auctions japan before, it was around 80$ and it was foldout I think. I also seen a "french" version on ebay, for 50$ and I didn't know if it was authentic or not but I should have bought it for the hell of it.

Re: Looking For This Poster
I got this poster for a dollar at the San Diego Comic Con in like 2002. It's pinned up to the side of my closet right now...
I always figured it was a bootleg image like those cheap rulers or trapper keepers you'd see, I dunno something about it just felt fan made. I'm surprised to see that it is from a Daizenshuu, and I'm even more surprised to see that it is rare. I'm pretty sure the back of mine is signed by Sean Schemmel, even though I had never seen the English dub at that point haha.

Well it used to be hanging in my room when I was a wee teen. Now it's tucked away somewhere in my former closet. I don't live at home anymore so I am not really sure. But I bet that I didn't throw it away. Bought it in Spain about 2002-2003 I believe.dprez wrote:O. My. God. I want this so bad. Greatest Dragon Ball poster I have ever seen. But yeah, they used to be printed and sold at those standard supermarket posterstands.

Re: Looking For This Poster
I had it as a poster, as well. A friend brought it back for me from -- interestingly enough, considering the post above this -- Spain.
Hung in my college dorm for most years. Amazing evening my freshman year when one dude decided to do shrooms and just stared at it for an hour.

That's on my to do list now dammit. I'd look at every single one and recall how they were apart of the story...VegettoEX wrote:I had it as a poster, as well. A friend brought it back for me from -- interestingly enough, considering the post above this -- Spain.

Re: Looking For This Poster
I have the bootleg version of that poster. 5000 of them were printed in Spain long ago, and the one most people have is No. 24. I'd really love to have an authentic version, although I have no idea how I would go about finding one...
This is the episode of when Gokuh enrages himself after Freezer talk shit about Kuririn
