With Ultimate Blast that I give Spike doing something new with the gameplay, but it's a shame that most people hated it.
Hated because it barely gave the user any chance to control the characters like previously on BT/RB.

It was a rock-paper-scissors game practically.

Nonetheless, this was still a pretty good game and shows Spike can do more than just Budokai Tenkaichi's or Raging Blast's.
It was a good concept but executed poorly. I loved it, but they really didn't have enough time with it.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I wouldn't mind a return to super butoden with a new storyline and an attempt to make original characters for the games

With Street Fighter X Tekken out now, I wonder if Dimps will have the time to do another game for Spike this year?

Huh? Dimps doesn't work for Spike. Spike likely couldn't afford to hire out Dimps if they wanted to.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Dimps develops the Datacarddass games, so we've been seeing a new Dimps DBZ game every year for a long while.

Dragon Ball: Budokai Heroes for PS3. Make it happen. Please, Namco Bandai, shut up and take my money.

Oh, Zenkai Battle Royal and Ultimate Butoden. Those I want for yesterday. (Because they're already made)

Dragon Ball Z: Budoukai Heroes? A 2D fighting game with digital cards?

Even if such thing would be dev'd, it'd be released for X360/PS3 and PSV/3DS possibly.

Dragon Ball: (no Z, because it includes all 3 anime titles) Budokai Heroes. A 2D fighting game using the Budokai engine...with the avatar characters from Dragon Ball Heroes. And of course, all of the new ones like Chilled, Tobi, Kyabira and all the new transformations.

I thought the use of the 2 names was obvious enough. Also, screw the cards lol (the only thing I like about heroes is the art on the cards)

I want a Budokai game with just DragonBall characters (Kid Goku, King Picclo etc). IMO, it'll fit that era better.

I love Dimps but I really just want to see somebody completely new. I think a fresh take on these games would be a good thing. Why does it only have to be only Spike or Dimps? I think both parties did all they can do. Super DBZ is a great example of what happens when someone else takes a fresh approach to these games; and that was a game build for the arcade, so imagine that kind of work but built for today's consoles. Though I will say, if I can only pick between Dimps and Spike I want Dimps back. Seriously I'm so sick of Spike's over the shoulder gameplay.
...Wait what are you doing? Are you still reading this? I finished what I had to say, why don't you move on to the next post?

Sorry I mean to say Bandai, I was not thinking straight for a moment  . I personally don't want IW to be Dimps final DBZ game on the consoles and I would love if they did one more Budokai game. I would love someone new but I'm not sure if anyone at the moment would want to do a DBZ game?

Axctualy, characters from the original Dragon Ball have yet to appear in the game, and neither has Kyabira.
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

Add the Budokai Tenkaichis there too.

BL is still the best of this gen, imo.

So, do we know anything of a port of Dragon Ball Zenkai? That game looks super fun, and I'd love a console release for it.

Nothing yet, if there was an announcement of DBZ:ZBR it'd likely be on Daizex's homepage of DB news.

It sure looks a lot of fun to play online unlike the rest of the other DBZ games.

I want Zenkai Battle Royal really bad. They are releasing Kinect one. And the 2012 project seems damn intresting.

Having Dragon Ball Heroes ported with the engine of Infinite World, upgraded for huge bosses with DLC option to get future characters like it goes on the arcade..... That will be my perfect game and I won't need anything else.
FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.
