DB Actors on Naruto and One Piece

I was wondering earlier today, does anyone what DB actors have appeared also on both Naruto and One Piece, be they English or Japanese? I know of at least three English actors who have (Laura Bailey, Vic Mignogna and Kyle Hebert), and was wondering if anyone else was in Japan?

On hand, I know Take'uchi Junko (Naruto) is the voice of Sabo in One Piece. Genda Tesshou (White, Bojack, Janemba, Shuu) is the voice of Kurama/Nine-Tails. Obviously guys like Tanaka (Kuririn and Luffy), Furukawa (Piccolo and Ace) are up there too.

It's good to know the veteran actors are still getting cast these days, although I don't think Tanaka Mayumi's done anything besides Luffy and Dragon Ball in...how many years?

Yea. Kuririn and Yajirobe are voiced by the same person who voices Luffy. Mayumi Tanaka. She is brilliant.

Yuko Kobayashi - Nico Robin (One Piece), Maron (Dragon Ball Z)
Chikao Ohtsuka - Gold Roger (One Piece), Taopaipai (Dragon Ball)
Chafurin - Saint Carlos (One Piece), Zunama (Dragon Ball GT), Haze Shenron (Dragon Ball GT)
Shigeru Chiba - Mayor of Luffy's Village (One Piece), Emperor Pilaf (Dragon Ball/GT), Raditz (Dragon Ball Z)
Yuko Minaguchi - Portgas D. Rouge (One Piece), Videl (Dragon Ball Z/GT), Pan (Dragon Ball Z/GT)

And I'm sure there's a TON more, but those were just the ones that jumped out at me as I scanned there. I'm sure I can think of a lot more dub examples too once I get to thinking, since those actors I'm much more familiar with.

Shigeru Chiba as Buggy the Clown is my favorite character in the anime. He is so good.

Yeah, I do to. I re-read his Wiki article to refresh my memory on whether he voiced Dorry or Groggy and re-read the part on his death. That hurt more than Hotaru no Haka.

Jinbe ended up having such a large role too. It would have been really great to hear so much of Gori in One Piece. He is my favorite Japanese VA, no question. Very sad

Wait, he was BUGGY? How did my eyes miss that on ANN? I LOVE Buggy, and I love Chiba (save for his Kuwabara in Yu Yu Hakusho, but that might be an acquired taste...maybe...), so now I've gotta hear that. Oh man.

And yeah, remembering about Gouri is always sad, sorry to have brought that up guys.

First off, Tanaka is a gal, not a guy. I know it was hinted at earlier in the thread, but I just wanted to make that perfectly clear. Jacob... I know you know this.

Tanaka has done numerous other roles since she took on the role of Luffy in One Piece, at least according to Japanese Wikipedia. Although I will admit that they're all minor roles. She'd be crazy to take on numerous leading roles all at once. I can't imagine how quickly she'd get burned out, although maybe not, since she is insanely awesome at what she does.

Another early One Piece character, Axe-Hand Morgon, would voiced by Banjou Ginga (Silver, Ammond, Bora). Of course, he was only in a few episodes, so I guess it was cost effective enough that they could bring in a veteran.

I love that I am becoming familiar enough with the voices that I am able to pick them quite often.

There are a lot of simple ones, like picking Tanaka as Koenma and Chiba as Buggy, but it still makes me feel good when I recognize a voice.

I was kinda meaning if anyone was on all three series. But it's nice to hear guys' roles. And if anyone was wondering who the three I mentioned in the first post were:

Laura Bailey (Little Trunks, Little Chi Chi) was Conis and a filler girl on One Piece and the second voice of Anko on Naruto, and some filler characters.

Kyle Hebert (Older Gohan, Z Narrator) was King Cobra (Vivi's dad) on One Piece and Kiba Inuzuka on Naruto.

Vic Mignogna (Broly) besides singing a few openings and endings for One Piece also voiced Nezumi, Nagato on Naruto, and filler characters on both series.

By the way, since I didn't really watch GT, I have to ask, does anyone know if Luci Christian or Stephanie Young played anyone in there, or Kai? If so, then all the Straw Hats (as far as the Funi dub is) will have been on DB in English.

According to ANN, Luci Christian played a newscaster in episode 71 of Kai (I think I remember hearing that now too), does that count?

Hard to believe she hasn't played anyone else in Dragon Ball, anywhere...

As for Stephanie Young, looks like all she's done for Dragon Ball was singing the first ending of GT on the Season Sets.

I did find someone else who's been in all three shows though - the infamous Troy Baker.

So nobody all that major in DB or OP (unless Ohm is big, I don't know who that is), but some fairly major people in Naruto.

Looked it up and Ohm is one of Eneru's guys. (I really need to get around to watching my dvds of One Piece season 3). Yeah, Troy Baker tends to go back and forth between LA and Texas, but I didn't know he was on DB as it's been a while since I saw movie 13 and I don't own the Funimation cast versions of the first 3 movies. Will say this about him and Laura Bailey is if you ever played FFXIII or Catherine, it's kinda funny when you realize they were Shin Chan and Action Bastard.
