The DB dub. Not the DBZ one. Although that's possibly due to the fact that Chibi Goku is cute and funny in DB, and Henderson really does do a good job with him (far better than she ever did with Gohan, for some reason).

(I should also make it clear that Chibi Goku is not cute and funny in DBGT. He is annoying and should die.)

I just wanted him to not stay a child through the entire series! Was that too much to ask? :(

I didn't like chibi GT Goku either, though I loved DB Goku. Maybe it's because it's annoying to see him actually lose everything and become immature again?

No... it's because they suck at imitating his original personality.

No, it's because GT sucks. At least most of it.

You have to go deeper, Jersey! Why does it suck? That... is my life goal.

It sucks because number #1- Toriyama didn't write it, so even if Toriyama himself had a lot of inconsistencies when he did DB and DBZ, it still had his "charm" to it. You actually feel the absence of it when you watch GT.

#2- Goku's a child all through the damn series! Bad idea for a plot. Everything charming and funny that could be done with Goku as a child had already been done in DB. Clearly people didn't think things through when they scripted that "gimmick" up. I understand that since Goku had become so unfathomably strong by the end of DBZ, that they had to weaken him somehow, but this idea was a really lazy one. They could have thought up something a lot more interesting. Or better yet, for once stop thinking like money-grubbing "suits" and just not make a series in the first place since what more can you really do without the risk of it being rehashing crap.(Okay, I'll calm down now.)

#3- Ya, here's another good idea, let's take everyone that was significant in DB and DBZ, Piccolo, Vegita, Tenshinhan(Oh wait, he was pretty much already gone!), Kuririn, and let's really piss everyone off, even Gohan! Ya, we'll make him really weak! And push them completely to the background for the majority of the series.

There Zacko, is that deep enough for you? Have I changed your life's goal now? :D

As is that. Well, actually, having him regress is annoying, in the same way that Rocky V is annoying. You can't spend so much time building someone up, and then just take everything away again. It can be done well, but usually it just cheats the audience.

You're dead right about his original personality. Instead of the charming, cute, funny, and ever so slightly dumb Goku, we have this new one that just goes through the cliches:

"I do not understand what is going on. I will eat some food. Then I will fight you, before claiming to be hungry again. EVERYONE WILL LAUGH! I LOVE FOOD!"

Gagh!

Yeah, you guys are right. I'd say that my life's goal has changed, but it's actually to kill lots of fangirls. Sorry for the mistake!

As long as they don't choose Justin Timberlake or Leonardo DiCaprio for Trunks (if they ever make one), I'm fine with it.

Hope no one flames me over this, but I would rather see a former Power Ranger playing Trunks over Leonardo DiCaprio.

I wouldn't flame you for that. I agree with you. Di"Crap"rio can't act his way out of a paperbag!

And Zacko, I'm glad to see you have your focus back! Now get out there and train, instead of wrecking the internet and flying off to your rendez-vous with Psyliam!! :x Don't make me send the scary, scary Trunks man after you!

I won't flame you either, I don't think anyone's going to argue in favour of his acting skills...still, you can't say DiCaprio isn't a real-life clone of the anime Trunks. I mean, they just look so similiar it's almost scary.

I'm pretty sure there was a black girl power ranger, at least at one time. I'd prefer her over Craprio.

It's hard to focus, Jerseymilk. Besides, my skill is so godlike already, and what with my computer teacher getting me suspended, I've got a lot of time to... oh wait, I just turned myself around. Uh... I'm godlike! *runs*

There's been 3 (all of them fine). I was referring to male rangers who have martial arts skills. I doubt Leo has any.

I still say Jar Jar would be perfect for the role. :P

You will be punched in the face, m'lady.

And didn't one of the black female Power Rangers die?

Oh come on! Girls would just faint seeing that good-lookin' Jar Jar with long purple hair and waving around a sword! Okay, okay! How about Vin Diesel? We all know he's a sensitive guy, so he'd be perfect to play Trunks! :D No wait! I've got it! The perfect choice and they already have purple hair! Dame Edna!!

I believe they made Blue french in the dub. Because french people do gay stuff without being gay. Right..

I met Leonardo Di"crap"rio. He's actually a fairly nice decent guy. As far as acting, he isn't that bad. Not the greatest but hey.

Besides, they wouldn't get him to play Trunks. He's too old. Justin Timberlake would cost too much.

Remember, a lot of the cast will be fairly young actors (with some exceptions), and more than likely unknowns (hello to an early dead carrer :D)

Yay

Err... no... they made him speak overly properly and "gently" (with perhaps a touch of a British accent), which did give him an air of effeminate-ness... but he certainly wasn't French. :?
