I have a little theory about this. If the viewer is the same age or younger than a character they have a crush on, and they grow up with the characters, they seem to have this subconscious thing that the character they crush on is still the same or older than them. I personally had that with the Sailor Soldiers. I used to have to remember "Oh, wait, they're 14", when I tried to remember what age they were, because when I was watching the show, they seemed to be that much older than me.

So maybe that explains some of the people liking Pan and Bra?

I'm surprised by the amount of people who actually think she's...fuckable, in dbzf.co.uk no one voted for her.

My theory is that a lot of casual fans, namely the ones who only watched DBZ, just know the one-dimensional angry "bitchy" Chi-Chi who only cares for the well-being of her son Gohan.

The 23rd tenkaichi budokai version of Chi-Chi is by far my favorite version of her; an extremely focused girl who dedicated herself to 3 years of martial arts in order to meet her future husband once again.

You can't go wrong with that

Yeah that's true but much to her cargin, Goku is kind of a terrible husband (when have you ever hear him praise her or even say he loves her in the Japanese version of the anime or the manga, as well as among other things?) and he's certainly not father of the year either so that leads her to overcompensate on the boy's well-being since Goku isn't willing to. Of course, I don't see her as the "absolute domineering monster that turn Gohan into a pussy" as she's viewed as, even when watching the English Dub.

Well, it probably helps for some people like we on the other side of the pond have at least two years more legality, with 16. Sure, it's still a little skeevy, but 16's still technically legal here.

In regards to Yoko, though, I think there have been fan theories about time passing differently underground in Gurren Lagann. But then again, this could also just be attempts to justify finding Yoko attractive. ^_~ It's also said to be "Word of God" that this is the case.

To be honest, anime's fucking weird about age. You can have one show with an 18-year-old girl that looks and sounds like she's an innocent 12-year-old girl, and then another show with an 11-year-old that looks and acts like promiscuous 17-year-old jailbait.

This happens in Dragon Ball itself. Gokuu still looks like he hasn't even hit puberty when he's 16 at the 22nd Tenkaichi Budoukai, and let me remind that Oolong, a 9-year-old piglet, almost molested 16-year-old Blooma. The only remotely age-appropriate youngsters in the series seem to be Goten and Trunks (and maybe Gohan).

Oh, and anyone that thinks Chi-Chi isn't fuckable needs to check out Pandora's Box. Just try to ignore the off-putting incest and disproportionate 8-year-old dongs flying about. Bleh.

But seriously, in my experience those five are almost bar none the worst in that department, certainly moreso than Dragon Ball (If we chose to interpret Goku's teenage years as an artistic handicap)- they could be between 16 and 20, given how tall they're made to look.

Physically I'll throw it to Bulma sans-afro or Videl.

But... I think Chi-Chi doesn't get a fair shake because she's perhaps the one person in the Z-entourage whose grounded enough in reality to strip away the fantasy and see how utterly horrifying these fights are and how annoyingly often they keep popping up*. But since we're supposed to be focusing on and rooting for the Z fighters in their efforts with all due suspension of disbelief, she seems the angry buzzkill "who just doesn't understand". She would sure as heck be one of the easiest in the group to have a normal conversation with. And yes, she has the... normal thing going for her for most of the series.
