Really late, but yeah, I was referring to the animation studio.

Re: What have you watched recently?
I watched Dragon Ball: Season Four. It had been a while since I watched the Piccolo Daimao episodes, and some of the episodes I had not seen before. Plus, this was my first time watching those episodes in Japanese.
Re: What have you watched recently?
Dragon Ball-related, I've been watching the 1995 BLT dub of Dragon Ball via the dvd boxset I bought of it.
Un-Dragon Ball related... come to think of it, all I've been watching lately is DB stuff it seems.
I really need to get back to Yu-Gi-Oh Season 0 and Sailor Moon Stars.

Same, except I've never seen it before, nor read those parts of the manga. I'm still surprised by how seriously everyone treats Kuririn's death after getting used to the "oh, the Dragon Balls" can sort that out attitude of DBZ.Shiyonasan wrote:I watched Dragon Ball: Season Four. Re: What have you watched recently?
I'm watching the Cell arc in Japanese. After I get done with that I will be completely done watching DBZ in Japanese, and I will finish Dragon Ball and GT. Then I plan to focus more on watching One Piece since I'm reading through the manga currently.

I'm watching the 4th DBox right now. Still on the first disc. Trunks just told everyone that the androids aren't the right ones.

Dragon Ball Kai - Episode 80 (Japanese with Yamamoto score).
With Yamamoto's music DBK is an entirely different show than Kikuchi, quite brilliant in a way.

Re: What have you watched recently?
I guess it's because the scene itself was so powerful and this was back in the days when the Dragon Balls had barely even been used (let alone were a major factor anyway, after only two arcs that focused on them and the rest were martial arts-oriented) and Kuririn was the first main character to die.LiamKav wrote:Same, except I've never seen it before, nor read those parts of the manga. Re: What have you watched recently?
A couple episodes into Kai part 3.
Re: What have you watched recently?
The past few months I've been re-watching all of DB to DBGT in Japanese.
I'm halfway through DBGT currently.
I've seriously enjoyed re-watching everything in Japanese It's awakened my love for DB and all the characters again.
I'll admit now that I am officially a Japanese Dub and English sub fan. I mean English dub is okay if I'm lazy or want some nostalgia, but Japanese dub just adds a whole different dimension to it. It's been so much fun!

Re: What have you watched recently?
I've been watching and reading the 21st Budoukai for my site recently. I'm hoping to start on the Red Ribbon arc in the next week or so, if time permits. I love Muscle Tower, so I can't wait.
I've also been gradually trying to watch through the first series with the boyfriend, since he's never seen it before. So far we're only up to Lunch's debut. We were also watching through DBZ as I got each US Dragon Box, but he's kind of a Gohan fanboy, so he didn't really like where the Boo arc was going and stopped watching. I don't really blame him, but I'll probably try to show him some of the good scenes he missed (evil Vegeta, Satan and Boo's adventures, Gotenks, Ultimate Gohan, etc).

Re: What have you watched recently?
Finished watching Kai part 1 in Blu-ray and now halfway through Kai part 3.
Re: What have you watched recently?
An honest tip: "Jap" isn't really an acceptable abbreviation, due to its derogatory use during and post-WWII. Just go the extra mile and type "Japanese," or even "JPN" if your fingers are that lazy.Gounks wrote:I've seriously enjoyed re-watching everything in Jap. Anyway, the last thing I did Dragon Ball-related was plug through a few more episodes of the second-to-last disc of Dragon Box 7 a few weeks back. I love the Boo arc, but I used to have the "Kid Buu" singles box set, so my will to rewatch these isn't as strong. I may have caught some episodes of Kai on TV here and there as well.
