I think someone here mentioned them being real. They came after the movie sets (I believe). I remember someone saying something to the effect of "figures FUNimation would re-release singles after the box sets).... could be wrong though :/samuraix123 wrote:I also thought the same thingIf I was a betting man I'd almost bet fake but I have no idea
Seems to really be a trend with FUNimation and Dragonball Z.......seriously.....BluezaBladeNZ wrote:Yes it is real. They were going to release all the movies singlely but they discontinued it after Bardock/Trunks.
DBZ is a cash-cow. As long as it makes them money and people keep on buying them, Funimation can do whatever they want with it.eledoremassis02 wrote:Seems to really be a trend with FUNimation and Dragonball Z.......seriously.....BluezaBladeNZ wrote:Yes it is real. Just a really bad track record lol. Though if they stopped the Dragon Boxes outta the blue... there would be riots lolGonstead wrote:DBZ is a cash-cow. The entire Saiyan arc was released legally in 1080p HD (digital format), but as for the Namek and Frieza arcs, there's none. Unless you count those small samples on the trailer.Gonstead wrote:The funny thing is that if they had just released up to 2.2 we would have had the entire series uncut in 4x3 with US music available.
After that, the old singles would work fine.
Kentai wrote:Son Gokuu is a fascinating character anyway, because he is - at face value, anyway - an idiot savant. The victim of violent head trauma as an infant [...] he's a simple bumpkin with a fair share of brain damage who's natural talents to work out what's wrong compensate for his broad lack of common sense. But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.
I think we actually did have a petition at some point for Dragon Box the Movies to include the Ocean dub, but it was just kind of forgotten. I don't think it would make much difference anyway.penguintruth wrote:The next Movie 1 release should contain BOTH English dubs for it. I'd love to hear Peter Kelamis (in his better days) over Dragon Box footage, for instance.
This didn't actually get released.TheGreatness25 wrote:It's real. Saw it in Best Buy. That's about as real as it gets lol If not, Best Buy is going to be very, very disappointed.
