Do those include Gamecube? Remember: Greatest Hits is $20 for PS2 and Xbox. It doesn't matter if the title isn't marked Greatest Hits, since people will just ignore the older, unmarked one and buy the cheaper Greatest Hits model. As a result, the stores smartly bring down the price of their inventory to match.Leotaku wrote: You should see the Walmart near me. "Sagas" is now officially in the bargain bin

I don't remember. I'm sure they had a few non-PS2 versions in the bargain bin (probably the same price), but the majority was PS2.Dayspring wrote:Do those include Gamecube? I don't think I've seen a Greatest Hits version of Sagas, just a lowered price of the original.

What I find peculiar about buying the Gamecube version of Sagas from a place like Amazon, it's basically $40. However the Ps2 and X-Box versions are LOW priced at $10. That is just confusing.

I bought the game for the GameCube, it is a lot of fun. I really like it when you have a friend playing too, and you fight against ginyu and jeice(Did I spell Jeice right?). I also played it in single player mode, and it is fun, but a little lonely without another player
. Ten dollars is enough for the PS2 and XBOX versions. As for the Gamecube, maybe the game had more popularity than the others, when it first came out. That is what I think, maybe I am wrong, but I know that I will like any DragonBall game.
It might be just me, but I think that DragonBall Z: Legendary Super Warriors was the best DBZ Game Boy Color game. (sorry for getting off topic there)

Concerning single-player mode, can you chose whichever character you want or does it follow the story's characters (eg: Goku fought Vegeta, therefore you MUST play as Goku)? I want to play the game as Bardock.Goten88gt wrote:I bought the game for the GameCube, it is a lot of fun. The game chooses for you who to play as in the story mode, therefore you only get to play as Goku, Kid Gohan, Vegeta, Teen Trunks, Adult Trunks, Piccolo, and preteen Gohan. In Pendulum mode on the other hand, you can choose anyone you want to play the levels out with. More options include Adult/Mirai Gohan, Bardock, Broly, Tien, Krillin, and Yamcha. But indeed; you will get to play as Bardock, but only after beating the story mode first.Dayspring wrote:Concerning single-player mode, can you chose whichever character you want or does it follow the story's characters (eg: Goku fought Vegeta, therefore you MUST play as Goku)? Actually after you first beat the game in story mode, then you can play as any character you want. You just have to select Pendulum mode at the mode selection screen. You will also be able to play hidden characters, like Bardock, Broli, Tien, Yamcha, etc... haha, my brother loves to play as Broli and beat the snot out of every opponent. So now you can play as Bardock, Dayspring.

Like some people here, I don't think Sagas is really that bad. I mean, there are those moments where your character freezes for a little while but it's still pretty fun.
Actually there was this one funny time when my brother and I were doing Pendulum Mode. I was Mirai Gohan and Vinny(my brother) was playing as Broli. While we were playing, Gohan froze for about 20 seconds and Vinny(as Broli) had to push me away from the prototype androids before Gohan felt like moving again.

Oh yeah, that's one of the main things keeping me away from this game; bugs and glitches. Bad gameplay is one thing, but if it doesn't even always WORK, that's even worse.unstable_person99 wrote:Actually there was this one funny time when my brother and I were doing Pendulum Mode. I remember the old topic we had on it from last year. All the bugs people mentioned just turned me away from this game.

The one thing I haven't understood is why the Pendulum Room mode is so highly regarded; they completely amp up the difficulty by about 90%! Seriously, it shouldn't take half an hour for Future Gohan to beat Nappa!
Battle High 2, starring Kyle Hebert as well as myself, has been released on Xbox 360, OUYA, PC, Linux, Mac, and Xbox One!

At that time before Budokai when Final Bout was the only game released in America I would of taken any DB game. But after playing Budokai, the quality of Sagas just didn't do it for me. In my opinion games are supposed to get better, not go from being great to mediocre. I know Sagas had different developers, but they should of attempted to make a better game than Budokai. They couid of sold more copies and possibly an anticipated sequal. come on now, Sagas never even made to Greatest Hit status.
I'm on a PSP. And I'm trying to follow the rules!
