Tenshinhan vs Krillin. If it doesn't have already a thread, tell me that.

I made a math calculation that gap between Krillin and Tenshinhan after the former got his dormant power unlocked is quite wide. Krillin was stated by Daizenshuu databook to be 75.000. I calculated Tenshinhan's power level after his training with King Kai to be 36.600, at best. Goku multiplied his power level by x20 after his training there, and rest of Z Fighters weren't there as long as him. So multiplying their power level more than Goku did is a huge stretch. And they did similar training while preparing for Androids, so their power would grow at similar rate. And I don't think that Krillin after Cell saga neglected himself so much that he allowed Tenshinhan to surpass him.

On the another hand, we can assume that they're equal in power and take look at their techniques. I find Krillin to be have better techniques. Destructo Disc is pretty overpowered (it could potentially kill Nappa) while it doesn't drain life force. Tenshinhan's Kikoho, while he was roughly equal to Krillin, couldn't lay a scratch on Nappa.

Thoughts?

Tenshinhan, hands down.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

Seriously? Please state a reason or your argument is worthless. Anyways the point is Gohan is stronger then vegeta so it can be thought the result would be greater with a stronger fusion partner. It can also be thought there is some weird boost if your partner is your rival or something. Honestly to me it makes no sense you get a greater boost for being rivals.
Why Dragon Ball Consistency in something such as power levels matter!

I think you're a bit too stuck in comparing things like numbers and specific techniques. What about the actual art of fighting? While Kuririn has done a little bit of it, Tenshinhan far and away outclasses him in developing specific techniques for specific purposes, and coming up with plans to combine various attacks and techniques to overwhelm his opponent. Look at the way he fought during the 22nd and 23rd Tenka'ichi Budōkai. He may have miscalculated Goku's overwhelming instinct, but the Shishin no Ken tactic was pretty darn amazing otherwise, and likely would take unsuspecting foes by surprise. And that wasn't just a "special move" -- it was a tactic rolled into a technique rolled into an overall strategy. When have we seen Kuririn do much like that except for when he's told to do so? I'm probably forgetting some stuff, but Tenshinhan seems to roll with the thoughtful fighting far more than Kuririn does.

And everyone, let's use our words. With sentences. C'mon, now.

I don't think the gap between their actual skill would make matter if one of fighters has much higher power level (unless weaker fighters are teamed up on stronger). Unless Tenshinhan knows Kaiouken, which he doesn't.

This is where power levels confuse things. The series seems say quite strongly at several points that someone with a higher power level will ALWAYS beat someone with a lower power level. The complications come from things like humans ability to vary power levels without changing form. I don't think (and correct me if I'm wrong) that it is ever said that Freeza's/Ginyu's etc skill as a fighter is what makes them so dangerous.

So, going what the series tells us (at least for DBZ), it doesn't matter if Tenshinhan is a more natural fighter or has better strategy. If Kuririn got a big power boost on Namek, that is all that matters.

Goku defeats Buu in the end despite not being as strong as him. The power of friendship and cunning techniques (see: tricking humanity into donating energy) wins the day over battle power direct comparisons.

Vegetto is powerful enough to kill gag characters. But he spares Arale's life in the end.

What if Arale cracks the Earth in half after he spares her life, destroying the atmosphere in the process, thus rendering Vegetto unable to breathe?

Vegetto pulls a baby Broly and makes an air-tight barrier for himself to survive in the vacuum of space.

Or teleports somewhere else since he's half-Goku and should be sporting Instant Movement.

Vegetto doesn't need to breathe, as proven by his candy form.

@VegettoEX

But in hypothetical Krillin vs Yamcha Genki Dama wouldn't be used, so it's a moot point to bring it up.

***

But that was candy form. Candies by nature don't breathe. Vegetto in normal form, unless he takes atmosphere with him in barrier, may be vulnerable to lack of atmosphere. Unless he is a too powerful Gary Stu

That's one example of one technique from one character. All of these characters have different "special moves" they've developed, and all of them have different levels of expertise in how to incorporate them into a larger fighting strategy, how to adapt that strategy, and so on and so forth. Who's to say they wouldn't create another new technique to use, as well? Look at Piccolo and him developing the Makankōsappō for the sole purpose of taking out Goku. Would Kuririn or Yamcha have the foresight to develop a technique for that type of situation? I dunno. Maybe. Possibly. I think Yamcha might do it more than Kuririn would. Yamcha's shown more initiative at key points than Kuririn did in terms of changing up his fighting (and hair) style (and Tenshinhan far more than that).

So again, saying "X IS A LARGER NUMBER THAN Y" doesn't answer the question, as clearly shown by the Kienzan being able to take out Nappa if Vegeta didn't warn him. The special properties of the attack and the special dumbness of the attacked created a unique situation where raw power (and numbers) was meaningless.

Gogetto (Gogeta and Vegetto fusion via Potara) vs. the entire universe (including the Otherworld, the Demon Realm, movies etc.) all at once

Conditions:
Gogeta's fusion lasts forever like Vegetto's.
Everyone can breathe in space for this battle.

Meh. I'll give the universe prep time and Mr. Satan and Tori Bot. I'll also allow the strongest fighter's fusions to fuse too.
