My problem with her is that she was basically a retarded Bulma with big-tits, but then again she does have some nice chi-chis on her (maybe she should be called Chi-Chi)....and a nice ass.

I didn't totally hate her though.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

She's still nothing more than one-dimensional bimbo fanservice with the blandest design ever.

Although I personally don't hate her so much as I find her boring.

To be fair, she's hardly in the best episodes either. The Garlic Jnr saga makes Piccolo shit, for pete's sake.

Dude... you have issues. And you are possibly from the 1960s.

Anyway, to turn to the Chi Chi hating stuff... I do sorta understand why the English dub tried to make Chi Chi more intelligent, but i think it actually backfires on the character. If she's just a dumb hick, then her pestering Gohan to study rather than saving the world come across as funny. But in the dub, she seems to have a brain, which means that her trying to get Gohan to study actually comes across as more stupid, because she should be aware that there won't be any jobs if the Earth is destroyed.

It's not just because she's fat and ugly, it's because she's rude and obnoxious.

Let's not forget that in the subs, Goku doesn't really tell her anything and she is oblivious how the Z-Senshi's actions end up routinely saving the Earth. In the dub, she knows that they have to fight or else the earth is gone.

My apologies. Maybe I should've explained my thoughts and posted my comment differently.

I am not racist. I just find funny how Yajirobe is a coward, so annoying, and is hated by everyone in series, and yet, is probably the only character seemingly of Japanese descent (dressed like a samurai).

Sometimes I wonder why his character was even created. But that's another topic.

Well, there's Kuririn (based on a Shaolin monk, the dots on his shaved head, and the way his eyes were drawn for much of his early chapters). And being Japanese does not make you exempt from hatred. And Japan doesn't even exist in the Dragon World.

Kame-shinin (his eyes and he's a shinnin), Chi-Chi (her pupils and her general characterization in DBZ) , and Tenshinhan (his eyes and he is also a buddhist) also seem pretty asian to me.

It was never stated that Tenshinhan's a Buddhist, although his arc with Tsuru-sennin and Tao Pai Pai sound similar to a common storyline in martial arts films. Or something like what Kunzait_83 said.

I used to really be annoyed by the Ginyu force and the way they would always pose...But watching that samurai guy during the muscle tower scenes made dragonball like torture.

Not technically a character so to speak; but more than anything ever, I hate the "son" in the Japanese name of Goku, and all the other names he is called; besides Goku and Kakarot.

I'm quite curious to know what's so offensive about "Son."
Do you follow the most comprehensive and entertaining Dragon Ball analysis series on YouTube? If you do, you're smart and awesome and fairly attractive. If not, see what all the fuss is about without even having to leave Kanzenshuu:

Don't tell me it has something to do with the American "hey, son..." / "yo, son..." / etc, but they're not really their sons.

I don't really see the problem someone calling him a "son", and if it's part of the name no one should have a problem with it.

I doubt it. But it could be related to the fact that FUNimation ignored/removed "Son" from his name.

To me it seems as weird as being upset when people call Spider-Man "Parker" instead of "Peter." Sometimes fictional characters have surnames.

The comments were nothing to do with you hating Yajirobe. It's to do with using the word "Jap", which has been considered a racial slur for roughly 70 years now.

Well over half the characters in the show have black pupils, so if you're going to include Chi Chi, you'd have to include Yamcha, Kuririn, Goku, in fact almost all the cast outside of Bulma.

(Of course, Japanese people don't have black eyes anyway. They are dark brown, which is a colour that I don't think anyone in DragonBall has.)

Well, almost all the female characters have blue, green, red, pink, or purple eyes.

Well, I think Bulma is the only main character of Caucasian descent...

Wait. Why are we talking about ethnicity in a series where aliens that evolved from monkeys (or some type of primate) are compatible with normal humans?
