As far as I'm concerned, this is a Raditz universe.

The last panel has me itching to draw Raditz doing something. I don't care what it is... or whom.
Raditz x Zangya OTP.
Raditz x Farmer with a gun

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

Holy fuck, I thought it was real for a moment!
James Teal (Animerica 1996) wrote:When you think about it, there are a number of similarities between the Chinese-inspired Son Goku and that most American of superhero icons, Superman. Both are aliens sent to Earth shortly after birth to escape the destruction of their homeworlds; both possess super-strength, flight, super-speed, heightened senses and the ability to cast energy blasts. But the crucial difference between them lies not only in how they view the world, but in how the world views them.

Superman is, and always has been, a symbol for truth, justice, and upstanding moral fortitude–a role model and leader as much as a fighter. The more down-to-earth Goku has no illusions about being responsible for maintaining social order, or for setting some kind of moral example for the entire world. Goku is simply a martial artist who’s devoted his life toward perfecting his fighting skills and other abilities. Though never shy about risking his life to save either one person or the entire world, he just doesn’t believe that the balance of the world rests in any way on his shoulders, and he has no need to shape any part of it in his image. Goku is an idealist, and believes that there is some good in everyone, but he is unconcerned with the big picture of the world…unless it has to do with some kind of fight. Politics, society, law and order don’t have much bearing on his life, but he’s a man who knows right from wrong.

For a moment there I thought they were going to share one pod. That would've been awkward.

So I guess Earth is safe, well in ruins but safe none the less.

I guess some humans on Earth could still be alive and they will likely take them years until they rebuild everything. Or they will just come back down and finish off everything on Earth?

I doubt they'd bother considering they'd be busy with Freeza. Although, didn't they use the Dragon Balls in this universe?

Such a chapter would be like performing The King in Yellow. Everyone is driven insane at the end of it.

Since there's definitely more to come in this comic than just the tournament itself, I'm betting that some Universes will get 'sequel specials' going further into what happened in-between what we saw and the start of the comic.

I'm imagining at least a trilogy for this Universe. Maybe it'll be two, though.

Jeez, Kakarot...
Yamcha: Do you remember the spell to release him - do you know all the words?
Bulma: Of course! I'm not gonna pull a Frieza and screw it up!
Master Roshi: Bulma, I think Frieza failed because he wore too many clothes!

Looks like Kakarot is pretty screwed up even compared to other Saiyans. I kinda like the subversion of it all. That, yeah, Saiyans may send infants to destroy planets but the infant grows up particularly crazy as a result of the lack of proper socialization and interaction.

That's a great point. Actually, do we have any indication in the manga or anime, or even a guidebook, about exactly how long they've been doing that? Maybe they never had a returning adult Saiyan from one of these missions, so they had no idea how messed up they'd be.

Or...hmm...I doubt it, but here's a thought. Maybe Kakarot in this universe DID hit his head still, but he hit it differently, or for whatever reason it had an entirely different effect. Maybe he's still brain-damaged in this universe and it's just in a VERY different way.

Either way - you know you're screwed up when you can make VEGETA quirk an eyebrow at your homicidal tendencies. Also, the dead alien he's stepping on looks kind of Ginyu-ish in the head.

Makes a lot of sense, good point. Given the way Kakarot acted before he bumped his head, imagined if he remained that way until adulthood? Such a interesting scenario.

Under normal circumstances, I'd assume the Saiyans would come and pick up the child they sent out not long after sending them. Kakarrot here may have been left on his own for an unusual amount of time due to planet Vegeta blowing up, which could explain why he turned out this way.
