Instead, the Hub should replace MLP with Dragon Ball.

I guess you are late then everyone else. The Internet is pretty much everywhere now these days (Unless you have a shitty beach house). It's on phones, ipods, and even video game systems.

I'm aware that solely by using an Xbox 360 a US citizen can get internet (Verizon or Comcast?) via their console without the need of anything else (PC), but how about Wii and PlayStation 3, is it also possible for these two other systems?

The way I knew about this was through an Xbox LIVE game chat, I was surprised that consoles are now able to be used for internet without PCs or anything.
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

I noticed that as well since I saw parts of it as I was flipping through the channels when waiting for the next episode of Destination Truth on Syfy. I wonder how long Nicktoons has the rights to Dragon Ball? 2005 was the last time that they played Dragon Ball when they did the whole Ultimate Uncut thing unless you want to count when they played Movie 12 & 13 in 2006.

It's not really that simple. No matter what device you own, you still have to pay a service provider to gain internet access, unless you happen to live near a free wireless connection. But free wireless usually isn't great quality, especially if you want to play online games or stream video.

Nicktoons in its' current state didn't even exist in 2005 ... I take it you meant Cartoon Network? In which case they should have no claim to any Dragon Ball anime by now.

I mean they as that any channel has not played anything DB related since then. I guess I should have been specific. Toonami did play a bit of DBZ as a April Fools gag which was the first time that CN played DB in half a decade. If Nicktoons does end up losing the rights then I guess Funimation's TV channel will play episodes of DB, GT and Kai? There is no point of playing normal DBZ anymore when Kai is pretty much the same with less filler and no Buu Saga.

The 360 is a getting a IE add on while the Wii and PS3 had Internet browsing for years.

Well, IE on Xbox 360 has been on it for a while now, that is, for the Beta members. And well, again, PS3's browser is atrocious, but only because Sony's a lousy company that doesn't care about improving and updating their own software of the systems (that includes PS3 / PSP / PSV -- PSV could be getting a lot more than just PS1 compatibility).

GT already fucks all logic as it is so starting by that series without even covering the Majin Buu Saga would make their headaches much more painful.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

You live in Australia right?, I have had it for years even though I lived in Australia (albeit a Suburban neighbourhood).
I guess many people have different preferences to where they live. Personally, my first exposure to Dragon Ball was through Cartoon Network Aus on Foxtel/Austar Satellite TV.

dbboxkaifan wrote:Regarding the music, it'll still stay inconsistent or are they changing that? US replacement here (Z/GT), and original there (DB)?
Well, Dragon Ball doesn't have a replacement score so there's no issue with it, but what we don't know is whether FUNimation has the rights to license out Z and GT with the original score or whether they just have the rights to include it on home video. If they do have the broadcast rights for the original audio, it might be the broadcaster who opts to go with the replacement score.

Here's the thing, though, how many of the people who really care about whether DBZ has the original score are actually going to watch it on TV?

I don't think so since I think new fans can look up on what happen after the Cell saga. I remember a few years ago in 2008 that I started to become a fan of The Guyver and I started to read the manga because I wanted to see what happen next after the battle with Neo-ZX-Tole.
