How did everyone feel towards Vegeta by the end?
Besides Goku, Bulma, Trunks, and Bra of course. Did everyone else [Tien, Yamcha, Kuririn, ect] still hate Vegeta for his past misdeeds, or do you think he was forgiven for the most part?

I'd say they forgave him. He did sacrifice his life to try and stop Buu after all.
Re: How did everyone feel towards Vegeta by the end?
I think that by the Artificial Human/Cell arcs, everyone new that Vegeta, however indirectly, actually protected Gohan and co. back on Namek. Because Goku let him live after their fight on Earth, Vegeta ended up saving their lives, and indirectly led to Goku reaching the level of super saiyan. Besides, Bulma liked him and wanted him to come along anyway, and who would wanna argue with her...
Now after Gohan beat Cell, Vegeta taking over the earth was the last thing on anyone's mind I'm sure, even his own. After finding out about Trunks and his future, I think they would all naturally feel much more comfortable around Vegeta, knowing he would more or less follow the previous rivals footsteps and join Goku's side due to a common enemy.
By the Boo arc and beyond, he was straight up nakama. This is pretty much 100% certified and official after Shenlong wishes him back to life with all the rest of the "good guys" who were killed by Boo and Babidi. Thus, Vegeta is officially one of Goku's weird warrior friends, and everybody knows.

I personally believe that Tenshinhan still holds a grudge against Vegeta. He's not the type to forgive someone part of Chaozu's death. Albeit, he forgave Piccolo, but Piccolo is still a different person from Daimao. Toei tries to show Tenshinhan's hate for Vegeta through the Ki gathering for the Genki Dama. Tenshinhan and Chaozu did not give their Ki until Goku asked.

They accept him by the end while not necessarily liking him. In the Android/Cell Saga, nobody liked him and found his attitude irritating, even Bulma was annoyed of him.

Re: How did everyone feel towards Vegeta by the end?
Kurrin: He seemed cool with Vegeta at the end. In the World Tournament saga he seems to fear him a little bit I would say they have a some respect for each other. I mean teaming up with Kurrin on Namek surviving the Androds. Vegeta even listens to Kurrin when he tells Vegeta not to destroy Android 18 as much as he didn't like it the old Vegeta would have probably took revenge on her for his defeat. I remember in the anime at least when Vegeta blew himslef up to defeat Buu, Kurrin yells "Vegataaaaaaaaa". That must show that he does care about him.
Piccolo: Pretty much on good terms with Vegeta. He probably understands Vegeta more than others not counting Bulma and Goku. I think Piccolo call him his friend after Vegeta's sacrifice.
Yamcha : On good terms with Vegeta but not the best of pals especially since Vegeta took his girl. I think he just tries to avoid Vegeta as much as possible. We never see him have a direct conversation or spout insults at each other in the Buu saga or after.
Tien: Obviously still hated him. He always seems to dislike him every time he sees him although we don't know much in the Buu saga as the two are never seen directly together.
Gohan: I see Uncle and nephew relationship going on here. If we think about Vegeta was probably trying to avenge Gohan when he thought Buu had killed him. I think Vegeta said something along the lines of " Forgive me Gohan " or something like that. So the two do have respect towards each other. Vegeta scolding Gohan for being weak against a enemy he should be able to defeat easily.
Chichi: I think she feels the same way about Vegeta as she does Goku minus the love part. She probably thinks his a dead beat husband just like Goku. I recall a scene in the anime where Chichi mentions a husband trade Goku for Vegeta.
Android 18 : This is an interesting one but I think she is simply neutral she neither hates him or really likes him. I mean he did let her get absorbed after all she must resent him for that. I think Vegeta may have some respect for her in a sense that she was one of the few people he lost against. I think the two just get along on neutral ground maybe they even let Trunks play with Maron on play dates or something.
Dende: Hated him first but learned to get over it. Before he use to hesitate healing Vegeta now he even offers to heal him proving Dende trusts him.
Piccolo: Pretty much on good terms with Vegeta. He probably understands Vegeta more than others not counting Bulma and Goku. I think Piccolo call him his friend after Vegeta's sacrifice.

Re: How did everyone feel towards Vegeta by the end?
I think, by the end of the Boo arc, most of them were alright with him, since it was his plan that saved the universe and Porunga deemed him good enough to be revived along with the others. Gohan even bothers to say "hi" to him when they walk past each other in Capsule Corp.
Chi-Chi probably just saw him the same as she did Gokuu and his friends: a deadbeat dad that was potentially a bad influence on Gohan, but she would've softened up after Gokuu died for the second time permanently and Gohan grew older (although I do have to wonder if she ever asked Vegeta why, when she picked him up after his battle with the Saiyans, he was lying naked and beaten unconscious on the ground). #18 would've always been neutral towards him, and even the others, apart from Kuririn and Marron, her only links to the super-warriors. Both Piccolo and Kuririn are clearly sad at Vegeta dying, and Dende even offers to heal him after Gokuu destroys Majin Boo with the Genki-Dama. Yamcha may still have a little resentment for him "stealing" his girlfriend, but would be too scared and powerless to speak up. I think he wouldn't care all that much anymore, though, since (in my fanon) he'd be having an affair with Chi-Chi.

This has been kinda bugging me. Does anyone know if Vegeta's "I will never fight again" line after Gohan kills Cells was Funi dub or in the original manga/anime? I could have sworn the Jpn version was "I need to go train!"

Re: How did everyone feel towards Vegeta by the end?
It was in the manga, but I think it was just Vegeta having a strop over both Gokuu and Gohan surpassing him, and the former dying, removing his chance at a rematch. DBZ Movie #9 at least gives a (potentially non-canon) explanation for how Vegeta got his stride back. I never expected a Saiyan, especially Vegeta, to just stop training cold turkey just because his rival died.Bando wrote:This has been kinda bugging me. Goku:
like with everyone
Gohan: Thinks he's a nice person now.
Goten: Same as above.
Piccolo: Respects him as they both have a lot in common.
Kuririn: Accepts him.
Chi-Chi: Pretty much the same way she feels about Goku minus the love part, but she digs that hot bod.
Yamcha: Accepts him, although he's still a tad peeved over him stealing his girlfriend.
Tenshinhan: Still kinda hates him but not as much as he used to.'
18: Kinda likes him, but misses the days when he was a selfish prince...because he was so amusingly arrogant.
Videl: Same as Gohan.

Hahahaa I remember that damn that means Chichi been eyeing Vegeta ever since Cell saga. I just realized how would chichi know that Vegeta doesn't do anything around the house unless she has experience

Re: How did everyone feel towards Vegeta by the end?
I think Goku had to have gotten really close, and Vegeta likewise, by the end to want to secretly run away to outer space with him and have an ultimate final battle to the death(?) in DBO's timeline. You don't go off on a tragic, Shakespearean death-match with someone unless they're really important to you.
I like to think that near the end of those 7 years between Cell and Buu, Vegeta, Bulma, and Chi-Chi would occasionally go to karaoke bars together (while dragging Gohan along) and sing the evening away, sometimes sober, sometimes not. Also, in my head-canon, Vegeta and Chi-Chi sometimes have Iron Chef-esque cooking battles with each other. Goku reaps the rewards; along with Bulma, Trunks, and Goten.
