I'm afraid so.

That movie was BAD. It essentially took the name of Dragon Ball and shat all over it. You should feel bad for enjoying it.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I more meant avoiding the fairly homophobic word "queer". And I have no idea what "Trunks was a G" means.

(I also don't see how you could describe Kid Trunks as gay in any way, stereotypical or not. He's a spoilt brat who likes fighting.)

Queer can mean "weird" too if I remember it right. Just saying.

I like the English Kai cast better than the original Japanese cast, even though i don`t have anything the Japanese version, as i enjoy both versions.

Check out Journey's End, a short story of Goku and Vegeta's final days. "Time is running out for the last two Saiyans"

Queer DOES mean weird. The homosexual context is the more recent connotation. Gio clearly intended the newer usage, since you can use it as a noun.

Sorry, lost my temper there.

But seriously to me, supporting that movie is like supporting raping of my childhood (or at the larger perspective, our childhood). It's hardly even Dragon Ball, just a shitty B-rank kung fu movie with high school angst that so happens to have "Dragon Ball" in the title. Sure the writing in DBGT sucked too but at least it (tried) to stay true to source material.

I like both the Faulconer and Yamamoto scores for DBZ better than the original Kikuchi score. I can at least tolerate the Kikuchi music now (when I first heard it I found it pretty ridiculous; my reaction was pretty much "did they borrow the music from a '70s Godzilla movie or something?"), but I still prefer either of the other two.

Krillin's Japanese voice has always bothered me. It's like they gave him a permanent "kid" voice just because he's small, even though midgets do not work that way.

Yajirobe is the same way, based on what little I've heard from him in Japanese. Probably because he's voiced by the same person, and in his case it's not even that it sounds "too young" but just that it's such a weird voice that I cannot ever picture it coming out of that guy's mouth.

Goku's Japanese voice is kind of hit-or-miss for me. Sometimes I don't notice it much at all (usually in fight scenes or video games, though more recently I've even been able to watch actual Goku-talking scenes without the voice bothering me), other times it just doesn't seem to fit and kind of grates on my nerves.

I prefer "Vegerot" to "Vegetto." I can understand using Vegetto if you spell Goku's Saiyan name Kakarotto, but English-language DBZ never includes the "-to" on the end (at least not Viz/Funimation's versions, I don't know for sure about British DBZ or anything), so leaving it for the fusion's name makes no sense in English... I appreciate that Viz was paying close enough attention to catch that fact and rename the fusion accordingly. Of course, "Vegito" is by far the worst spelling for the Goku/Vegeta fusion's name.

I actually like movie 4 (Lord Slug), though apparently it's commonly considered one of the worst. Of course, that may have something to do with the Namekian focus it has (I like Nameks), but still... there's a lot about the movie I like even disregarding the villain's species. It's also interesting how it manages to be even more "alternate universe" than the rest of the movies, since Super Saiyan doesn't even work the same way as it does in the main series.

I actually kinda liked the Garlic Junior arc. As far as filler episodes go, they weren't bad at all.

Filler episodes, in general, don't bug me too much. It's the "fight inflating" filler that tends to get on my nerves more (especially the Freeza battle's "never-ending five minutes." Some shorter fights at various points in the series could use some filler, but... not one that's supposed to be timed.)

I never actually got all the way through GT. I've only seen a few scattered scenes here and there from the earlier bits, a little bit of Rilldo, and then most or all (can't remember for sure) of Super 17.

The filler episode where Goku runs into to Tao while looking for the DragonBalls is one of my favorite episodes in the whole series. It's just so funny, I can't help it!

By "G" he means "Badass", it derives from "gansta" which can be used in the same context these days.

Yeah I agree since I sat through a lot worst. The movie is like what the 1994 Street Fighter movie was, it's so bad that's it's good because it's so cheesy. Yeah Fox show no care on the movie but I knew the movie was going to suck since day one. I see Dragon Ball fans comparing the movie to the 1998 Godzilla movie. The 1998 Godzilla movie was highly-anticipated and a lot of people where let down by it. With Dragon Ball Evolution, you know that this movie was going to suck. Every person that I talk to and seen said that DBE looked terrible.

Oh, I forgot to say this the first time. I like Movie 10, I'd even put in my top 5....Okay maybe top 6 but I feel it isn't really that bad. The animation was pretty damn good too.

If Dragon Ball Z didn't exist, I'd consider Movie 1 within my personal canon. It just feels soooo much like Dragon Ball instead of it's sequel.

Must be people who hate on filler for the sake of hating on it.

Ehhh...that didn't help much for me but I should respect that you like it.As much as I hate to

Anyways, another confession:

-Studio Live is not that bad of an Animation team people make it out to be. Sure, it's no Segaishi or Studio Cockpit but it got the job done efficienly, and it's an ass-load better than the later Uchiyama-supervised DBZ episodes (Episode 151+).
