Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

Yep, check the main site to get a look at what each side of the official boxes looks like.

Yep, that's a bootleg from Hong Kong. The image of Goten they used is from the individual disc release, specifically volume #36. The image was also used on a promotional poster for the individual disc release back in 2006

Almost a shame, though. It's a nice shot of Goten and would go well with the Goku and Gohan.

Another giveaway is the usage of FUNImation's cover art for Dragon Ball Z Kai Part 1. Oh, and I hate to admit it, but those are actuallly some nifty looking bootlegs...I'm sorry.

Wow, those other boxes actually look real in that picture, if they didn't try to get creative with the Dragon Ball Z box they'd have fooled a lot of poor people.

The only thing worse than a bootleg is a well done bootleg that breaks your heart to learn the truth about.

You can also tell because the over-all style of the artwork is different, while the real Dragon Box art was all drawn by Toriyama himself.
I wipe it off the tile, the light is brighter this time, everything is 3D blasphemy.
My eyes are red and gold, the hair is standing straight up, this is not the way I picture me.
I can't control my shakes, how the hell did I get here? Something about this, so very wrong.
I have to laugh out loud, I wish I didn't like this. Is it a dream or a memory?

It's Nakatsuru, though.

I thought Nakatsuru did the Dragon Ball, Z and GT ones while Yamamuro did the Movies and Singles.

It looks really nice but how about the actual content, does it have horrible English subtitles and 20 episodes compressed to one DVD?
FUNimation 2015 Releases I want:
- Kai 2.0 on Blu-ray

Good question, I'd like to know what the picture quality was like as well, just out of curiosity.

I'm guessing it might. Though those cases look really awesome, to be honest.

DragonBoxZTheMovies nailed it - Toriyama had nothing to do with the Dragon Box artwork.

I confess I'd get this for the boxes alone.

Although I assume they've crammed 17 episodes per disc.

Yeah, if it were cheap enough I'd throw out the discs and put the Funimations ones inside.

Speaking of which, AnimeMaakuo would you happen to have any more photos of these bootlegs? I must admit, I'm quite curious about the packaging.
