I'm still waiting for Wii to decrease the price even more because I'm only interested on 13 games it has. Considering I own a GameCube I'll perhaps forgive Nintendo for throwing away the ability to play NGC games on Wii.
Most Wii models allow for backwards compatibility. Only the newer models from last year don't allow it. Just get an older model used. They'll probably be cheaper and easier to find.

Also Arc System Works seems to porting a lot of their Blaz Blue titles over to the Vita. Given their experience with the system I'd be ok with them doing another Super Sonic Warriors for the Vita. My only request would be that they make the fighters less "floaty." Especially with 2, I felt like the characters had no weight and they just bounced around.

Note, I said Cross Buy is something Bandai Namco would likely not do, not Cross Play. Cross Buy is an initiative where if you buy the PS3 version of a game you get the Vita version at no additional cost. Cross Play is simply cross platform play. Bandai Namco is supporting Cross Play with God Eater 2 (PSP <-> Vita), and Gundam Breaker (PS3 <-> Vita). If there ever was a PS3/Vita Dragon Ball title I think Cross Play could be supported. Would be cool for something like Zenkai Battle Royale ...

If a new Shin Budokai were to come out on the Vita I would march myself down to my local games store and buy a Vita. Especially if it had cross play.

DBZ Budokai HD Collection is sort of a new game, so if Shin Budokai qHD Collection came out for PSV, would you consider?

It's silly that PSV has "HD Collections" when its resolution isn't even 960x720 or 1280x720 but 960×544.

Besides the resolution not being actual HD, it's still needs more games to its catalogue and no HDMI.. PS Vita Slim in a year or two, Sony?

Yes, I would get it if a Shin Budokai qHD collection came out.

Yeah, HD gets tossed around a lot as a buzz word. Vita's resolution isn't HD, but many of the console games this generation aren't either.

Kind of sad to think about really.

Me too. It seem like a third Shin Budokai game never got made most likely that the second game didn't seem as successful as the first game.

A new Shin Budokai would be sweet, it would probably urge me to get a Vita, despite me just buying a 3DS XL just yesterday! :P

We got a third Shin Budokai, it's called Dragon Ball Evolution. It does use a modified Shin Budokai engine, the problem was that game came out in 2009 and the expectations for a PSP game techwise had gone up considerably. Dimps didn't optimize for those expectations, so you had a dumbed down fighting engine, and long load screens.

Shin Budokai with semi-Bust Limit graphics! I'd buy it no problem.

My guess is because the story mode for the second game wasn't as appealing. I give them props for trying something new, but I didn't like how it pretty much played out exactly the same as the actual Buu saga. Add that to the fact that it was hard to find people to play with, I can see why it wouldn't do as well as the first. The first game had a similar multiplayer issue but the story mode was appealing and I think it was the first time you could play as Janemba(if I'm not mistaken). Now that the Vita can do online, I don't think finding people will be that much of an issues; especially if they were to put a game on PS3 for crossplay.

Nope, he was in the first Sparking game which came out a year before Shin Budokai did.

Well, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 2 was just announced for PS3, and Vita so maybe Namco Bandai would do the same.

Didn't the Japanese gamers hate One Piece Pirate Warriors?

819 Reviews - Overall Score Review 2/5

OP:PW1 looks pretty repetitive and boring by the gameplay videos I've seen so if I were to pick it up, it'd really have to cost less than £5 since it's a game I have zero interest.

That is pretty much the description for every Omega Force game ever made. Yet Japan eats those Dynasty Warriors, Samurai Warriors, Warriors Orochi, etc. games up.

I thought Pirate Warrior's biggest complaint was the content that was skipped (understandable, it's a fucking long manga).

It still sold a gigantic amount of copies.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

Maybe because there's not a lot of One Piece games available in the western and its fans just bought it 'cos there wasn't much to choose from. Oh yeah, there's that other on the Wii, um..

I'll wait for the day that Namco Bandai hires someone decent to make a decent One Piece game (it could be said the same for Dragon Ball).

No, I was talking about Japanese sales. I think it was 900k in the first week or something insane like that? (Maybe first month?)

I own a Vita and from the looks of it, every Vita hater is either someone who hasn't played with it before or somebody who is mad cause they can't afford it. Every single game I have on the vita is awesome. Also I think Project Versus J should be considered a DB game...shouldn't it?

More of a "Jump" game. If we considered this a Dragon Ball game, then Jump Super Stars and Battle Stadium D.O.N would have to be included too. I think the farthest you could stretch that title would be a crossover game with only 2 franchises.
