Just compare this shit with Shen Long's scenes in DBZ movie 2 and 3, which were obviously far cheaper than this film. C'mon Toei, how can this be worse looking with more budget?

I'm starting to really subscribe to the theory that Toei hasn't many talented animators on hand any more. That or they're simply refusing to higher outside of their own company to make use of those they already have on payroll.

That or it's just an in-between, but then again shouldn't there be a digital technique to copy the foreground (which obviously isn't moving) to allow an animator to simply draw the moving background? Ah, the hell knows...

I recall there being more than 7 wishes which were granted by Shenlong. If not, then this wish probably just doesn't count because there are only 7 balls.
Or Toei doesn't give a shit about GT, which I don't hope.

K. I fixed it. That's two already =/.

There are a lot. For example, Vegeta's armor has lines on the back of the boots, missing some lines on the back of his armor, and part of it is brown when it should be white, Shenlong's claws are black instead of white, etc.

Why? The Shadow Dragons only exist because they used the Dragon Balls so much in the first place.

Each one was represented and created by one of the 7 wishes they made over the course of Dragon Ball though, this would be the 8th wish

This movie is taken place during the manga. GT is not canon to the manga. Not using GT into account is a good thing.

Blah quality group shots from afar aren't exactly a litmus test for the quality of the animation of the actual film. The fight scenes are and with Shida Naotoshi on the case, we're guaranteed at least one good cut.

December has been the big push for One Piece's movies. The cartoon turns fifteen in 2014 so I don't think that would be a good idea.

If that's the case then maybe in November or just release it during Spring time just like Battle of Gods is. I can't see a DBZ film doing well during the summer.

Shenlong grants 10 wishes in the manga: panties, reviving Bora, Piccolo's youth, bringing back Piccolo's victims, reviving Goku, reviving Freeza's victims, reviving Cell's victims, removing the androids' bombs, reviving those killed the day of the 25th TB, and erasing people's memories of Boo. Even going by times Shenlong is summoned rather than wish number that's still 9 times (8, if you don't count the interrupted session in the Boo arc as 2 seperate times).

In GT, each of the Evil Dragons is said to be born from a specific wish to Shenlong, but nothing is said to link the dragon balls' Minus Energy finally overflowing to them making 7 wishes. And good thing they didn't, since as the list above shows this wouldn't have made sense.
