The Paozu Tuna bit was also a stroke of genius :p The only thing I didn't really like was the intercutting between the footage of Krillin and Maron where it's clearly evening for Krillin's shots and noon foor Maron's shots. I'm guessing you probably tried some color correcting on Maron's shots but it didn't really work so you just left it like that 
Oh well, sucks, but doesn't diminish the episode :p

The only thing that bothers me is:
Krillin can't be committing fraud when he has multiple witnesses of his death. If the insurance underwriter didn't actually stipulate resurrection, then he has a completely legal claim to that money.

Unfortunately, I have to agree. I really feel as if he's falling into the Mary Sue/Gary Stu category.
