The Scarier Experience

Post by Gonstead » Wed Jan 09, 2013 4:31 am

Which would you say would be much more scarier if you were the one experiencing it?

1. Absorbed by Cell - Stinger.

2. Absorbed by Cell - Open Tail.

3. Turned into food by Majin Buu.

4. Absorbed by Majin Buu.

5. Balloon Death - Like when Super Buu killed that one man.

For me, Absorbtion via stinger is just friggen scary as hell and would never want to experience it.

Dragon Ball doesn't really have too many (if any) moments of pure horror, but for me, the scenes where Cell slowly absorbs that old man with his stinger and when Majin Boo goes inside that other old man and gives him the "balloon death" are always the creepiest ones. So I'd definitely choose those as the ones I'd least want to experience.

Man, it's bad luck to be an old man in DB...

I consider anyone who can sit through all those god-awful filler segments involving Bulma's distress on Namek (especially when she fought the crab) and not want to hang themselves in the end a very brave man.

On a serious note, I think being turned into food is the worst experience out of what you've mentioned because you'll have to go through the process of being turned into food, and your bones n' shit are shattered when he crunches you.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'd say either Cell transformation. It's either be stabbed by a massive stinger and slowly drained...or go through his tail full. I'd probably rank them (from most horrible to least) like this:

1. Absorbed by Cell - Open Tail
2. Absorbed by Cell - Stinger
3. Super Buu Balloon death (I'd rather just die by a ki blast, thanks, Buu)
4. Absorbed by Buu (doesn't seem as disgusting or painful as being absorbed by Cell)
5. Eaten by Buu (easily the quickest and least painful)

Turned into food. Unless you're Vegetto, then I believe you become unconcious (or even dead) once you become food.

EDIT: Read the OP wrong. Being turned into food, IMHO, is the least scary experience.

Apparently not in GT, but GT isn't relevant right now : P

The Balloon Death and Cell's drain sting must be truly horrible and painful deaths!
I believe that being turned into a candy, like any other objects, destroys your conscience when you're not the almighty Vegetto, meaning you die instantly and without any pain.
But if it's not the case, it's at least a quite fast death, being crushed like Chichi or crunched in two seconds at most.

Being absorbed is not too great for claustrophobic people I guess, but other than that it doesn't seem that horrible.
Being absorbed by Cell could be disgusting to some people since you're pretty much surrounded by muscles, and there's the fact that you're pretty much going into the inside of a big bug!
But being absorbed by Boo must be just like being engulfed in a giant chewing-gum, not too scary and a pretty short-lived experience, that doesn't lead to death. Then you're in a comfy cocoon and can catch up for the sleeping hours you might have missed.

Definitely being absorbed by Cell's tail when it's in it's needle form. I hate needles just as much as Goku does already, so the idea of being stabbed by that thing, then (how I think it works anyway) my insides liquified and then sucked out of me until I'm nothing...Gah. *shudders*

Definitely Cell's stinger.

Though I think killed by Daimao would be the worst, since you couldn't pass on.

I'm going to pick one that's not on your list. and that's when Babidi makes the worker at the world martial arts tournament head explode! :o that was frightening to me. but to pick one on your list, I'd say number 1! that would hurt like crap :P

Cell for sure. Cell was always the scariest villain. This is why he is my favorite, Vegeta aside  .
Vegeta: "Funny... I seem to recall Kakarot being fed the same information right before he transformed; the distinct look on your faces when he went Super Saiyan didn't exactly inspire confidence. One does not predict or calculate power like ours."

6. Being sliced in half by Freeza's take on the Destructo Disc technique.

From the list I'd definitely agree on the Cell stinger death, I hate bugs with stingers and the though of having my life force drained is horrible. Also not on the list I always remember watching Gero/#20 kill Yamucha in the anime, for me that death was maybe the worst in the series, not sure why, it might be just because of how sudden it was and the atmosphere at the time but it always scared me.

Fuck even getting to the abilities these guys have. Just seeing them walk around would freak me out.

But if I had to pick, I'm terrified of Cell's tail. I know when I was like 9, I had a nightmare about being stalked by Imperfect Cell.

I think that adds to it quite a bit too. Any of the creepy stuff the other characters do that's been mentioned, they just kind of do it, and that's it. Cell freakin' stalks you first, and even though he could catch you right away, he lets you try to get away for his own amusement. He makes it a mental game.

Dear god, he's Freddy Krueger...

The stinger is definitely the worst in my opinion. I can't imagine how painful that would be. :x

The balloon death always scared me as a kid, though I think the stinger would be worse. Both are pretty terrible though.

I'll be taking options 1 to 3. When i saw Cell's open tail method, it sucked up like a vacuum cleaner eating a human alive entering through his body, but a bit scarier as the stinger kills a victim and all it remains is their clothes and stuff   :(

Seems Chi-Chi was turned into an egg before her soul went to heaven after Buu's foot stomped her bones and flesh. Same with #18, Videl, etc..., he eventually ate them afterwards because it's not just a scene from "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" when a guy chased a idiot with a chainsaw. I doubt turning a person into food affects their flesh and bones when it comes to injuries.
