Mine as well is GT. The music makes everything so god damn nostalgic and has a greater memorability for me.
BT3 off meds | The final fight

Ah, the Alpha and the Omega. As all life was created from Chaos...so shall it be DESTROYED!!!

The wails of machines | Singing cold harmony | Shifting air upward | Entranced by the breeze | Light pours like blood | Into a cosmic sea | Of stars crystallized | In a frozen symphony

If you're talking about M708B, no it's not used in the series, or anything at all, ever!
I'm sorry but I'm very sure you're wrong. I've not been with the Japanese version of the series for long, but I am 100% sure that the track you linked is used in the series.

You're the one who's wrong. If you don't believe me, go check out kenisu3000's BGM documentation.

But, to reiterate the edit I made to my previous post:
Unless of course you're talking about the piece that comes right after it in the track I linked to, which is M737.

OOOHHHHH, I GET IT. I completely missed the fact that the first bit is different from the rest of the track. Super sorry for all the confusion! I'll just go sit in a corner....

Actually, the entirety of the "WE GOTTA POWER/We Were Angels" era of DBZ uses a short version of M1706 for its title cards.

Yeah, Tanooki Kuribo, are you sure you're not thinking of the returning eyecatch jingle from episode 202?

Yup. I'm totally thinking of the eye catch jingle. Well, I'll never post from work again, this is the second time I did that this week. Well carry on people, nothing to see here!

Wasn't there also a new title card music for the Trunks TV Special? I really like the sound of serious tone to it.

I too was thinking this thread was about the (visual) title cards of each episode. Was assuming a music question would have been in the Music section..

Anyway, I'd say the original Dragonball title card theme is the most memorable for me. Along with all of those redundant kanji title cards of the Tenkaichi Budokai.

Isn't it simply a remix of a pre-existing track?

The Tenkaichi Budokai title cards in the first series were a nice reference to Golden Harvest productions.

Well, not really a "remix", but just an edited version of M1313B with the middle stuff cut out.

Yeah, that was what I was trying to think up to say in response instead of remix.

Nope. Like I said, it's unused, and it was intended for the title cards of crisis episodes, according to its description in the booklet that comes with the DBZ BGM collection.
...have I missed any translations of these descriptions? O.o

Give me a minute...

Update: Okay, sorry for the wait. I wasn't able to get a good scan of the page with the description of M708B, because my scanner is a piece of crap.

So, here's the Japanese text...:
最初のショック・ブリッジM708Bは危機感溢れるエピソードの場合に使われたサブタイトル曲。

...and my translation:
"M708B, the shock bridge at the beginning (In the beginning of the track "Katsute Nai Kyōfu", that is), is the subtitle music used in episodes with overflowing feelings of danger."

Aw, it clearly says that the piece was used as a title card theme, which is complete bullshit. This is one of the reasons why I dislike the existing soundtrack CDs.

Yeah.

It should've said something more along the lines of "M708B, the shock bridge at the beginning, is an unused subtitle theme that was intended for crisis episodes." That's what I think they actually meant, anyway, even though it wasn't worded right.
