Please try to keep things on-topic, folks -- this thread is specifically about Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission on the Nintendo 3DS (which does have some recent updates).

Additionally, if you dislike Super Dragon Ball Z, you have no soul and you're not my friend.

Sometimes.... words hurt.

And thanks for the update. This game continues to look cool.

Actually, i'd really like to have Pui Pui playable in a DBZ game. Dunno why, but i always liked his design, and used to wear his suit on my DBOnline character.

While we're at it, was Pui Pui in Dragon Ball Heroes?

My thoughts exactly, the game was made by the same guys involved in Street Fighter 2; one of the most sucessful arcade games ever. Furthermore Toriyama was personally involved. If you dislike this game, you wouldn't know what a good fighting game is if it punched you in the face.

Okay now for some Heroes discussion, it covers up to which set exactly?

Everybody has his/her own opinion. I personally prefer BT3. For the same reasons TheDevilsCorpse stated; I prefer a game where I can fight like in Dragon Ball Z rather than Street Fighter II with DBZ skins. Super Dragon Ball Z wasn't a commecial success as huge as the Sparking games, and there's a reason for this.

As for Dragon Ball Heroes: Ultimate Mission, and Dragon Ball Heroes in general, they're not really fighting games, but rather card battle video games.

Mighty Mask (Goten and Trunks) is on that trailer. I don't remember seeing him on Heroes before (though I'm sure he was on other carddass games).

He's been in since the early sets. Both base and Super Saiyan.

Me and TheDevilsCorpse compiled a list of models used in the Budokai engine that haven't been used in Heroes yet. So far these are the ones left:

Son Goku: Childhood
Piccolo Daimao
Piccolo Daimao: Old
Arale
Obotchaman

Bulma
Babidi
Kibito

Super 17
Si Xing Long (Base, 2nd Form)
San Xing Long
Yi Xing Long (Base, Final)
Vegeta: GT (Super Saiyan 4)
Gogeta (Super Saiyan 4)

Yamhan
Yamhan: Mistake
Majin Buu: Evil (Vegeta Absorbed, Freeza Absorbed, Cell Absorbed, Tenshinhan and Yamcha Absorbed)
Freeza Majin
Cell Majin
Kuriza (Base, Final Form)
Trunks: Future (Super Saiyan 2)
Son Gohan: Future (Super Saiyan 2, Ultimate)

He appeared a long time ago, but I highly doubt we'll ever see the alternate design in a game like Heroes.

So, shouldn't the model be added to the list of unused Budokai models for DB Heroes yet?

And one more that came to my mind: Freeza in his hoverchair. Never used in Heroes.
(P.S: Talking about it gives me memories of when i once dreamed to play as him in Budokai 3)

I guess we could but aren't we getting a little anal about it? In which game did Freeza in the hover chair appeared by the way? And Gotan appeared when all the fusions started appearing, his second skin is horrifying, I hope it never appears anywhere ever again.

When was any of this ever in doubt? Where you not expecting Hatchiyack to be in? He was the secret card of the second set, if you missed that.

Budokai 3, coded in only as a character that appears on CPU vs CPU battles (after you wait for a short time on the Title Screen)

You folks on Daizex even had a topic back then about him :)

And a pic:

Nowadays via the mods everyone has learned to do, its easy to access his model. I remember when my dream was to play as him many years ago.

I don't know, but in Heroes i only saw him as a Special Boss character on the Official Website back when they introduced him to Heroes. I was worried they could skip him. Now it's so awesome Hatchiyack gets some love he deserves, after so many years of being an unused character till RB2.

Nah bro, he was featured again in Set 8 along with Ghost Warrior versions of Freeza, Slug and Coola, or rather cards with Ghost Warrior abilities.

And that topic is from before I joined, I never knew this model was in until now, heard about it though.

I'm still hoping for a Western release, however, they would have to bring the card game over here too. It would be Yu-Gi-Oh game we never got.

To be perfectly honest, I couldn't care less about the fans a re-issue might alienate because if all they're concerned about is being able to scalp the people who were either unaware of the Dragon Boxes or couldn't afford them at the time, they're just leeches and deserve to have their greed backfire on them.

So, if I want to fight Billy the Wonder Cat in this game, I'm going to need that issue of V-Jump with the special code, right? Anyone know which issue that was? And is that all I'll need?
