The point where it should've ended :p Maybe somehow the movie is going to tie everything together and give us the most satisfactory ending ever :p
I dunno, just a thought :p
The original ending with Goku going to train Oob is a great ending. I really don't see why people want DB ending to be the
ending of the adventures.
It's a cute ending but I found the overall message very shallow and the fact that Goku just up n' leaves his friends/family does not reflect that well on his character.
If the series is going to end at the Majin Boo Saga it should have ended immediately after Goku and co. defeat Pure Boo with Goku and Vegeta giving each other thumps up.

Goku didn't die in GT. The show sucked him off so much, it was impossible to keep him in the world of the living, so he ascended beyond mortality.

I'm just about done with the concept of reboots and making shows that were products of their time and impactful "new and sexy" and in line with modern tastes and sensibilities. Let stuff stay in their era and give today's kids their own shit to watch.
I always side eye the people who say "Now my kids/today's kids can experience what I did as a child!" Nigga, who gives a fuck about
your childhood? You're an adult now and it was at least 15 years ago. Let the kids have their own experience instead of picking at a corpse.

TheMightyOzaru wrote:I like the ending too. At first I hated it with a passion but that was before I realized the symbolism of it all. It's a passing of the torch. Goku won't be around forever and there needs to be someone to defend Earth. It also acts as an epilogue saying there are more adventures to come. The ending is very Dragon Ball. This movie will likely symbolize the end of Goku's adventures, through obtaining a power that cannot be surpassed meaning there are no more limits for Goku to break, but not the series'.
I think the series ended just fine, but the Kanzenban ending is even better (apart from Vegeta's comment at the end :p). And yeah, if this movie ends with Goku realizing that he's as strong as he'll ever be... that only makes the original ending with Uub even stronger. Hell, if he found out that there is no way he could get stronger (I mean, God is pretty much... you can't go above that in essence) than the only thing important left in his life is finding someone who can become the next savior of the world. Actually it makes the Uub ending kinda strong if you think about it. He leaves his friends and family because he knows that its the right time. Not only is there nothing left for him strength wise, but he has to pass everything on to the next hero, and it's just not Gohan or Goten and Trunks. It has to be someone new. All this is discounting GT though :p
What I said might be what people thought of the ending all this time, but I thought of it just now. Especially if Goku mentions himself reaching his absolute max at the end of the movie.

So I saw this video of this guy talking about the movie filling every viewer with lies and bad info. Everyone turning SSJ3 even Broly being in it. I made a message saying to everyone just stick with Kanzenshuu.com for the real info. I just love this site and feel bad for fans who believe fake info.

It's Goku. He's always doing that. He lives almost entirely on his own whims.
The fact that he sees this as normal and doesn't mean any harm by it is what makes him charming instead of a disturbing sociopath.
(But then again, some of my favorite fictional characters ARE disturbing, yet charming socipaths.)

But he's also a fighter, through and through [...] he fight until he has, in no uncertain terms, beaten his enemy on terms they can both acknowledge. He doesn't want to kill anyone, or even prove that he can win... he just wants to know he can. He's an ineffably charming bastard who's manly leanings were really incendental, and yes, the fact that he was voiced by a squeaky woman made the combination perhaps all the more charming.

I'm still trying to figure out what I think Goku's ssjg form will look like. I've got four different theories atm without any of them really standing out above the others. @_@
'It has a blue aura' is not much to go on, but that's all I've got from the trailer. ^^;
Atm I've got:
Theory 1: It's like a blue kaio-ken. It can be used on top of any of Goku's ssj forms as well as on top of his base form.
Theory 2: A continuation of the regular ol' ssj levels; kinda like the fanart that's been floating around, only without the ssj4 fur.
Theory 3: SSJ3 with Birusu-type clothes.
Theory 4: Ostentatiously (glamorous?) ultimate transformation that goes as far out there as it can with everything; hair, clothes, eyes.
I have no clue though; just have to wait and see.
On hiatus.

If Toriyama happens to be the one who designed it, I'm sure it'll be something crazy that none of us will have been expecting.

I'll put my money on the first theory with the blue aura, but instead of any SSJ form, it's just the first one.

If Saiya-jins literally have a god form, I hope there's an explanation as to what makes Saiya-jins so special. I can understand transformations like the various Super Saiya-jin levels, even reaching the level of power that SSG might have, because they're a warrior species. But if they can turn into actual gods just because... that's lazy writing even for Dragon Ball.

That's why I think this God form is not natural to all Saiyans, it's given to Goku by the very specific circumstances here and he could not have achieved it by natural means (which doesn't mean he won't keep it afterwards).
It would seem illogical that one of the species in the lower universe would naturally be able to reach the power of Gods just through training and hard battles (and Goku had quite his share of those).
The fact that the Dragon Balls are used shortly before the Super Saiyan God transformation seems to go that way too. They could have something to do with it.

I just dreamed about the look of SSJG Goku. It was Goku in the normal state, but instead of blonde hair, he had the Dr. Slumpish pink shit on his head.
This movie will definitely rock

FighterZ, Street Fighter 6, Mortal Kombat: Funky_Strudel
PS5: Dynamixx88
Trust me, I'm millenial and a designer.

I kind of think the term "Super Saiyan God" sounds a bit silly. It sounds like something a 13 year old would come up with for his AF fan fic.

Well, who knows. It's Akira Toriyama. It'll probably end up being something totally outrageous that none of us could've imagined.

It's probably just the beta name in a sense. SSJ2 was called SSJ Grade 5 way back in the day.

Then again, it wasn't Akira Toriyama that came up with the name.

While on the subject on this topic, I recently saw a picture from Dragon Ball Z Experts' Instagram trying to petition Funimation to dub Battle of Gods. It's unclear it will happen sooner but it'll be a worse case scenario, the license ends 2015.
http://instagr.am/p/WFI0XMEFI_/
EDIT: I read one of the comments that they might use the original Z dub cast as opposed to the Kai cast.

I wish. SSJG should've been called in the first place Super Saiyan 3.5 or SSJ3.5

FUNimation is the last entity that needs convincing that FUNimation should get to eventually dub and distribute the film. But it's not 100% up to them.

My YouTube
Soppa Saiyjins from Dorgou Ballru Zetto is my favorite transformation everah, especially when Trounksoru did it in front of Seru and when Bejita did it when he faced Jingonigen-hachigo. But for real, I use the FUNi pronunciation. - Soppa Saia People

Why would it being the "Z" dub cast matter at that point? The only characters that I can think of being any different (at that point in the story and we don't know the Buu saga changes, if any are yet) are 18, Bulma and the Narrator. I hope (and think) it'd be the Kai cast though, plus I wanna like the narration, haha. But, as others have said I'd wait 'til after it comes out in Japan to start talking about dubs. I found the tidbit on the front page about Birus destroying most of Kaio's planet over a video game hilarious. That screams a Toriyama idea, so even though he hasn't really done much with the series since the original run. I think he knows what he's doing, even with Super Saiyan God.
