No, it's just him. You'd do yourself a big favour by ignoring that guy.

So just kinda leave him to his devices. Got it.

The fact that this happened made me think of that tweet from the other day about Julian doing a Shakespearean translation of the 2nd trailer's dialogue in response to this sort of thing; only this one happened completely unintentionally.

NeoKING wrote:Does anyone else find it funny that all these years we've viewed Dragon Ball characters as strong as gods, but when an actual god comes onto the scene as a bad guy, he's just super duper strong? It's like in Saint Seiya, where you think the Gold Saints who can deal billions of blows per second at the speed of light, are basically the strongest beings ever, but when the actual Greek gods join the fray they almost pale in comparison.
Well, going from god-like beings to an actual godly figure (one who's not randomly weaker than what Nature produces >_>) is a big jump. So strong them seem like a god is different from a god so strong, they just casually alter reality and wipe beings from existence.

Bubsy over there feels like a god for once. A Greek/Egyptian type of God (he's definitely visually inspired by the Egyptian style), but a god none-the-less. Those are often the most fun as they're rather flawed (especially the Greek gods, reigning jerks that they are).

I wonder what sort of personality/behavioral flaws we'll get from Hakai Kitty (I assume he'll be more than our Bio Hunter Silva, just screaming "Hakai!" over and over again, lol). There were the comments about being a gormet. He could be a total food buff, leading Goku and Bils to become friends at the end, lol (and a perfect excuse to sneak him into the DB/OP/Toriko crossover).

What would you guys like to see Rage Cat do, in terms of non-destruction? Any little details that might make him more fun for you?

Still don't get the "Bilus is a gourmet" comment from a while back.

I think they meant "Whis" or whatever spelling of his name you guys are going with. The funky looking guy with spiked up hair who seems to accompany Bills. That guy apparently is seen snacking on various things in almost every scene we've been shown of him.

-Generally lazy throughout the movie's downtime.
-Quick to become alert, meaning a tendency to twitch his ears
-When something grabs his interest, have him flick his tail while excited
-Perhaps have him easily distracted, but enough power that it doesn't really matter if he's caught off guard
-Maybe a tendency to lick his paws when getting serious or during one of those breaks after an exchange of hits
-Also, I'd love a knee-jerk reaction and a meow-screech if anyone grabs his tail at any point in the film.

Both seem to be gourmet. Bills was eating when the Z Warriors attacked him:

I'm hoping for some fun reality-warping stuff from both Birusu and Uisu. I also hope that's Bulma's cake Uisu is carrying a plate of in the second trailer.

This may have possibly already been discussed, so sorry in advance if that's the case. Anyways, I was thinking about what Pilaf, Mai and Shu could possibly be doing in Battle of Gods. It's fairly obvious they're there for comic relief, but could they actually help in someway to defeat Birusu?, maybe if Uisu turns out to be the evil mastermind, could they be the ones to uncover him? or something along those lines...
I reached that line of thinking when watching the latest trailer for the up-tenth time, when they suddenly reminded me of Pokemon's Team Rocket. On the Pokemon film's, Team Rocket is always there for comic relief, but often enough, they help defeat the evil guy/pokemon of turn. If that's the case, what do you guys think will be Pilaf and his gang contribution, if any, to the plot?
Yes, Goku visited me once. He turned to me while I was still speechless, and said, "You've drank too much"...

I don't know but maybe whatever they do to help allows them to get their adult forms back.

Or maybe they will actually remain children even after the movie

By the way, I just realized that the fact they exist in the movie at all means that they aren't actually evil (if they were, they wouldn't have been revived after Buu blew up the Earth). This is something that's generally considered a GT plothole but it appears it's not a plothole after all.

That point got a good deal of discussion back in ye olden days of this thread, in between bouts of the Gohan's Hair Wars. The short of it is that the exact wording of the wish to restore Earth and its people in the Boo arc specifies that Shenlong not revive "extremely evil" people (in contrast, the earlier wish to bring back everyone who died the day of the tournament only said to leave out "evil" people). So Pilaf and co. would be revived so long as they're evil but not extremely evil, which seems easy enough to swallow. Some people even argue that Pilaf and co. are too goofy to be considered evil at all, but this is more controversial.

So bottom line, Pilaf and co. being alive past the Boo arc really a plot hole, either for GT or BoG.

He released Piccolo. :P

But this has been said several times on the podcast; I don't think he knew what he was getting into.

Did some math and just learned that since the first early showing of BOG on March 12th is at 6:30pm, it means it'll be 5:30am on March 12th where I am when it begins.
At 85 minutes/hour and 15, that brings it, EST, to 6:45am.
Meaning spoilers can be expected to start flooding out around 7am, EST.

Depending on what is going on rl-wise for me that day, I may actually consider waking up extremely early for this (while wondering how I'm ever going to sleep that night).

*Desperately hopes she doesn't have to be anywhere that day.*

6.30 pm Japan time? If so, that means... any spoilers should be out by the time I get home from University :D That'd be pretty good timing for me.
I'm re-watching Dragon Ball GT in full on my blog. Check it out if you're interested in my thoughts on the series as I watch through it!

I hope Bills isn't just a one-dimensional evil villain. I mean, he serves an important role of balance in the universe. However, some of the phrases he's saying in the trailers we have are pretty generic "bad guy" quotes. Especially in the newest trailer. "I'll have the pleasure of destroying Earth." I'm afraid he's going to be a one-dimensional shallow villain, but I'm holding out hope that there's more to his character. Well since destruction is his job, I guess there's nothing wrong with being passionate about his job. Just because he'll say these generic things doesn't mean his way of thinking and acting will necessarily be generic... right?

I wouldn't worry. I'd say that his apparent "gourmet" characteristics (whatever that ends up meaning), in addition to his love of games and sore-loser attitude already give him more personality than a good majority of DragonBall's villains.

That's sad to say, but... yeah.

Well, he is a Dragon Ball villain so I don't really expect anything other than that.

Yeah, but his story is unique and different! He also has Whis. I think there's going to be some depth here.
