It's a movie, I'd expect a DVD release in Japan first, then if we are lucky we'll see it either as a direct to video in the USA and possibly other territories or a Cinema and then DVD shortly afterwards.

I hope this movie gets overseas, it would be awesome to watch dragon ball in the movie theaters, the only thing about dragon ball I got to watch in the theaters here is.... well.... dragon ball evolution .

And I hope the music previews come soon, I bought the 3rd Kai soundtrack and I hope this is worth buying!.

I know i'm probably the only one but is anyone else not really digging Krillin's outfit or hair style? it just looks odd

Since this movie is rated "G", do you think the violence will be toned down? If I'm not mistaken, Japan doesn't have have "PG", just a "G" and "PG-12", so maybe this film will most likely fall under what would be a "PG" in the States? What were the ratings for previous Dragon Ball films (if any).

What shocks me is that Bee (Boo's dog), is not seen anywhere. And Marron has only been shown once, on the sceenshot with Shenron, and her mother still carry Marron in her arms despite her age (7-8 years old).

I think Krillens little cheek line-squiggles are positioned too low on his face in the new one, it makes him look way too young younger than he looked on Namek...

So Vis is shown as being a fighter in the game.
If he can fight in the movie too, it is possible Goku - once a Super Saiyan God - will take on Birus in space while the others deal with Vis on Earth (since Goku and Birus are left alone in space, that would explain where he is - unless he gets eliminated before that, but I wouldn't think so).

Well, I don't really like his outfit, I'm not a fan of those Chinese-inspired up-clothes that go down so much they hide most of the legs, it's similar to Gohan's baby outfit that I don't like either.
However, I do like his new hairstyle, which is the best he had and makes him look so much cooler!

What if Uisu is the Super Saiya-jin God and he just tricks Birusu in order to eliminate Goku and Vegeta and activate the Dragon Balls for whatever reason?

Now that I've read the whole SD version, I must say I really like Birus a lot, I love the way he behaves - kinda friendly when not angry!
But having a time bomb that can get angry at any time and will destroy whole planets when angered must be a hellish amount of pressure (and Vegeta wouldn't disagree with that statement )!
He forms a good duo with Vis - who also has a big amount of charisma in his behavior, it seems -, I like the interaction between the two!

To me, Birus is undoubtedly the best DB movie villain ever - I think just that SD manga is enough to convince me without having seen the whole actual movie -, and one of the greatest DB villains in general!
The more I see and know, the more I want to see the movie, it's exciting and unbearable at the same time!!

Yeah since PG would make sense if the MPAA would rate it. I think G could be possible as well since there has been a few violent G rated movies.
